Meet The Cast and Producers of House, M.D.!

February 10, 2006 by

If you live in or around Los Angeles, or will be traveling there soon, then you are lucky!

The Museum of Television & Radio will present the twenty-third annual William S. Paley Television Festival from February 28 through March 15, 2006. This Festival, named for William S. Paley, founder of both the Museum and CBS, celebrates television’s rich and diverse programming and the creative process behind it. During these evenings, the audience views episodes or highlights of the featured work and has the opportunity to ask questions of the cast and creative teams or the individual involved in its production.

House hotties will be there on Wednesday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m.

You can meet: some executive producers (who cares) and the good stuff: Lisa Edelstein ( Cuddy), Omar Epps ( Foreman), Hugh Laurie (As if you didn’t know!), Robert Sean Leonard (Wilson), Jennifer Morrison (Cameron), Jesse Spencer (Chase).

Tickets are already on sale. Get all the info here.

I WOULD DIE TO SEE THE CAST OF HOUSE! You don’t even understand I would like give up my life savings to go see Hugh Laurie. I am obsessed with that show and have never in my life have missed an episode from Season 1 – now. I was so happy when House won Best Actor!!! I loveeee Hugh Laurie so much I really want to meet him!!!!! I can’t wait for the new episode this Tuesday!!!

  3. I am an R.N., and House hands down is my favorite show! Hugh Laurie is spectacular in making Gregory House such a multi-faceted character; I was so happy for him receiving his Best Actor awards of which he is so deserving.
    Kudos!!!!

Awwww….crap, I’m too far away. It’ a shame I live in the Bahamas :( I wish I live in or around LA, I would die if I ever got to meet Hugh or Lisa, metaphorically I mean. I am a huge fan [not like Shaelah there, I only watched a few epis from the second season and every epi from the third. I'm only 13 and when House fist came out, I was stuck on CSI...] and I would absolutely lov to meet them, especially Hugh or Lisa :)

  5. Dill says:

  7. Josephine says:

    Hugh Lauri is Right

  8. Saw a re-run recently that pushed bone marrow transplantation back 100 years!! I am a RN & also a bone marrow transplant survivor. A person does NOT match their children (it DOES happen, but extremely rare). A bone marrow biopsy NEVER EVER involves a drill!!! I love your show, but the research on that one sucked!

  9. savannah rae says:

  11. william driscoll says:

anyone know why they use so many jewish names in the episodes?

  12. J. Campbell says:

I am a 33 year old female from Illinois who was diagnosed with Familial Mediterranean Fever in 2005 at Mayo Clinic. (after a 12 year search for answers to my failing health)

I too just finished watching the episode that I DVR’d yesterday. I was very disappointed at the symptoms of FMF the producer chose to describe. Ahedonia – lacking ability to feel pleasure, sleep walking, sweating blood, kidney failure. I realize we all have different symptoms, but maybe they could have contacted those of us in our FMF yahoo support group to give an accurate list of symptoms. (the major one being severe abdominal pain)

The most obsurd part of this episode was when House asked the man what his last name was? House then said the man was a liar! Then the guy admits to being for Iraq or somewhere…. almost came accross insulting. My grandma’s from Italy?????? No one ever called me a liar in the 12 year search for a medical diagnosis.

If I were to watch this I would in no way thing FMF would be in my classifications of diagnosis.
I actually have the k695r MEFV mutation and have NONE of these symptoms, but a bunch of others. It’s called FM(Fever) for a reason, nowhere did they mention fevers.

I started colchicine and the accute attacks are held at bay as long as I stay on this treatment.

NOT TOO SURE IF I’LL BE INTO HOUSE M.D like before unless these things are somewhat accurate. I’m pretty disappointed. Maybe I’ll go back to Mystery Diagnosis. (Discovery Health Channel) That’s much more accurate.

Anyway, better get off to bed…..I’ll give the show this much credit. I feel on a daily basis as tired as those patients looked on the show, but I am able to crack a smile and fake it for my kids sake.

Recent episode in Feb 2009. House being a angry and pill popping doctor changes and gets nicer and nicer because instead of taking vicoden he was given methadone and it totally changed him due to the term living as a “bipolar”. The neurologist I work for recently wrote a new book called curing chronic pain by Dr. Robert T. Cochran, Jr. and was amazed at the story line to due the fact that he has been using Metadone to treat my bi-polar patients with pain. I am not asking for you to go out and buy hundreds of books but reading it would obviously make a great story line. Check it out if you suffer from migraines, anger, and pain or bi-polar disease. I think anyone with a problem will find it useful. I would love to meet these producers of this show. I could give them 10 years of great stories.

  15. Phillip S. Finley says:

If you would like to see House in the role of chief medical officer aboard a starship, take a gander at the Star Trek fanfiction “The Politics of Gender”.
    http://z15.invisionfree.com/Polaris_Anthologies/index.php?showtopic=573
He rides a space Harley, and his sarcastic, prime-directive-bending makes for riotous moments.
I’d pay good money to see Kate Mulgrew (Capt. Janeway) as his boss… two strong wills ever colliding.
Transplant the characters of the show into a Trek setting… just one episode… pleeeease?? ;)

  16. I am NOT a Certified Athletic Trainer, but I have served as a Chair of a Department where we academically and experientially prepare students to sit for the Board of Certification exam as Certified Athletic Trainers. My understanding is (in speaking with my Professionally and Certified colleagues) that House uses his cane improperly. The cane is to be used on the opposite side of the disabled or affected limb. Therefore, every time House uses his cane he exhibits improper use of an ambulatory support. Given his demeanor, this would make some sense (if you made a point of it) that he uses the cane incorrectly, because he wants too! This would make sense given his persona. However, you would give credibility to the series if you would at least inform people that the correct way is opposite of the manner in which House chooses to use his cane.
