House Nominated for Teen Choice Award

by Cory on June 22nd, 2006

House has been nominated for a Teen Choice Award in the category “TV Show - Drama/Action Adv.” It’s competition, and my comments, are as follows:

Grey’s Anatomy - Seen a few episodes. I thought they were good, but I haven’t gotten into it. The revolving door of relationships takes too much commitment to keep up with. I can’t remember who’s sleeping with whom any given week.
Lost - Missed this one when it started. Perhaps this summer we’ll borrow Season 1. Sounds like Season 2 fell off a bit.
One Tree Hill - I watched the first couple episodes and liked them: The tension between the two brothers, and also between the one and his dad. Then it turned into a high school sex romp, with everyone sleeping with everyone else. Next!
Smallville - Again, never got into it… not that I wasn’t interested. But this is one my wife wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole. (”Comic book characters? No thank you.“) So, my TV hours are spent on more mutually agreeable fare.
The O.C. - Never seen it. Don’t even know what it’s about. I’m assuming it’s set in Orange County, but that’s the extent of my knowledge.

So, among the six, I know which one I’d choose hands down. But then again, I’m not exactly in their target market. If you are, GO VOTE! Er… Choose. Er… whatever.
