Book Review: The Medical Science of House, M.D.
Linda Lamb has a brief review of Andrew Holtz’s book, The Medical Science of House, M.D. It’s none too favorable. Seems Mr. Holtz has taken our fascinating little show and sucked the life out of it. At one point she actually uses the expression “blah, blah, blah,” to describe the book.
Now, I haven’t read the book. Perhaps she’s dead on. But I’m a little suspect of her judgment since she states that the show is just beginning its second season. She’s only a year off, but that seems like an easy one to get right.
Have any of you read the book? Is it “blah, blah, blah,” or it is a bit more interesting than that?

STINK! And I was 3 years into my 5 year educational program to learn how to be a real doctor by watching House. You mean this stuff isn’t real? It’s only a TV show and I’m just supposed to enjoy it for what it is, an actual break from reality? Looks like I’m going to have to go back to the news to get my “real”, “true” information…oh wait, that won’t work either.
