Fry & Laurie Again?
According to an interview with Stephen Fry, he and his good friend, Hugh Laurie keep talking about getting back together to work on a project again.
They’ve been friends for many years and are most well known together as Fry & Laurie. Here’s more of what Fry had to say:
“I love being with Hugh - he’s my best friend and I’m so proud of him. His performance is astonishing in House.
“From when I first knew him, I knew that he had this astonishing talent, but if anything it was held back by his being self-deprecating. He’d rather pull a silly face than try to look like a cool James Bond, which is really what he is.”
Hmmmm…perhaps it’s time for a taller James Bond…. ;-)

I’d love to see them together again in anything. You know how every season seems to contain a multi-episode story arc with one recurring character, like Tritter this year (YIKES!)? I think it would be super if next season’s recurring character could be played by Stephen.

I’ve been thinking the same thing - Hugh Laurie as Bond…far more interesting than the last couple of offerings. Or as the evil genius and nemesis??? Crazy, but it might just work…
Or Doctor Who, should the divine David Tennant hang up his Tardis?

I feel like I’ve read that somewhere regarding Hugh–where he said he’d like to be the “evil genius and nemesis” in a Bond movie. I’m for that more than I’m for him actually being Bond.
