Queen Bestows Great Honor on Hugh Laurie
A while back, I posted about Hugh Laurie being named to the Order of the British Empire. Well, the ceremony to bestow that great honor took place at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday. Here’s a link to the full story.

UPDATE: There won’t be any official photos of the event. Here’s what the press release had to say:
Hugh Laurie and Buckingham Palace have requested no photos of Hugh receiving his OBE will be released to the public without express written consent from himself and Buckingham Palace.

There was no press release. The news that there were no pictures to be released came from me. I am nobody. :) I only wrote to BCA Film (Royal Investiture Photography) and they told me Hugh requested his OBE be a “no media” event. Just to…clarity. :)
