Whoa! This is a BIG one! Michael Ausiello, the spoiler king from TV Guide Online just gave us this spoiler for House:

Question: Now that Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars are over, I’ve directed all of my attention to House. Got scoop?— Alison
Ausiello: It’s official: Replacements are being sought for Foreman, Chase and Cameron! Producers will be introducing four new underlings — two male, two female — at the start of the new season. But before you freak out, keep in mind what I’ve been telling you every week for the past month: It’s my understanding that Jennifer Morrison, Jesse Spencer and Omar Epps all will be returning, making for one very crowded canvas.

It looks like they’re replacing them as working for House, but they will be back. Probably working for Cuddy. Remember that Cuddy offered Foreman his own group?

I have faith that they (the show writers) will work this all out somehow but at the moment it sounds like waaaaay too many people on one show. I don’t want HOUSE turning into ER. I have always appreciated the tightness of the storylines and I know that’s been helped by the smaller cast. A bigger cast seems like the show would lose focus. I am looking forward to House having new people working for him, though. I think it would have been a shame for the last episode of season 3 to have been meaningless–have them go, “no, never mind, not really” when season 4 started.

If this is true, then it is excellent news! It was my feeling that the season 3 finale was meant to convey that House as well as his “crew” had all come to terms with the fact that the team was separating. I think that it would have undermined the importance of the finale as well as show in general if Season 4 were to begin as though everything were fine again with everyone. And I can only hope that when the show replaces Cameron, Chase, and Foreman with this supposed new team that it really does replace them rather than having them hang around on in the show in some other capacity. I agree with Janice that if this were to happen then the show’s storylines would become dilluted, thus forfeiting one of the elements which has made “House” the top show on T.V. for 3 seasons.

    POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

The threesome are coming back, the newbies will be interns. House needs to do something fresh with the show, and seeing as ensemble shows with 7+ people are all the rage on TV today, house is following through.

Hopefully it will liven up the series, although some of the guests that might appear are highly questionable, twins seriously? seriously!?!?!

It has always been the idea of producers to replace an actor or actress, but this time they have gone too far. It’s okay if one of the actors would leave, but all three together, getting replaced my strangers after three seasons where all things have worked out.

    Who had this stupid idea?

I loved the series and now they ruined it :(
