Question: There’s been a lack of House spoilers lately. Think you can give me a tiny glimpse into Season 4?— Sara
Ausiello: New details are emerging about the four new underlings joining House’s crew who I first told you about last week. Of the two women, one is described as being in her thirties and “mysterious,” while the other is in her twenties and a “real go-getter.” The dudes, meanwhile, consist of a plastic surgeon in his thirties and a possibly single dad in his early forties. Also, two of the characters will be on for multi-episode arcs, and the other two will stick around as series regulars.

I did have the thought regarding the newbies that they might only be temporary characters. Guess I’m half right! :) I wonder if the “go-getter” is going to be the student House asked for a resume in the season finale. I’m not crazy about the single dad idea. HOUSE, for me, has enough kids on the show as patients. I don’t get why House would hire a plastic surgeon for his team–doesn’t seem like something a diagnostics dept. would need. Maybe he will be one of the temporary characters.

The very brief description of the new cast is interesting, but I still don’t get the single dad thing or the surgeon? I know there might be some kind of sexual tension between House and the new female cast [or there might not be. [I think…] but if there happens to be some, I hope not too much because I love the idea of where House and Cuddy’s relationship is going and not much migt happen this season but definately in seasons to come.

I must admit after watching the Finale of Season 3 (which was great) i thought that Chase, Foreman and Cameron would come back to the show, Maybe over the first few episodes. But after reading this possible spoiler i think that atleast we should get to see how he hired them. Maybe while he is hiring the new ‘Crew’. So we can see his selection process. I’m sure we will see special guest appearences from Chase, Cameron and Foremon over season four. :)

I think the show writers will have a LOT of angry fans on their hands if they don’t follow through with where they were leading us with House and Cuddy this season. I recall seeing a poll on the FOX website for HOUSE asking who you would most like to see House have a relationship with and nearly half the respondents picked Cuddy. I was one of them!

I am a House fan first, last, and always. As long as House is on HOUSE :D I will be watching. I ABsolutely hated the character of “Honey” and even if they put him with her I would not stop watching.

Honestly, this is frustrating news! If two of the four replacements for House’s “departing” team are only meant to be temporary characters, are we then to expect that there will be an amalgamation of the “old” House team with the remaining portion of the “new” House team? It is my feeling that based on Season 3’s finale, there is NO plausible way for the writers of the show to reunite the “team.” And as Grey’s Anatomy and ER have proven, when a show takes on too many characters, its quality becomes dilluted. The only way for the show to remain successful in Season 4 is to REALLY replace the Foreman, Chase, and Cameron pursuant to what had been alluded to in last season’s finale rather than have them hang around in ANY capacity.

Hugh Laurie is the programme, the rest are his gimps. Its time for fresh gimps. I however would guess that one of the old crew will become a patient….Cameron??? I al;=so guess that if that does happen, the old team may get back together to help out; it could also be one of the rare cases where he looses a patient. This would give the writers a chance to bury the old team for good. the old team were good, but a 4th season with them could jade the show.
Although I like Cuddy and believe it will be House who makes her pregnant (which she will probably lose), to me my favourite gimp is Wilson. There is a lot of mileage in that character and he has come a long way since Dead Poets. We are a full season behind here in the UK, so I rely on you guys over there letting me know when the nerw series is screened.

Since all the Huddy fans are weighing in, I’ll stand up for House & Cameron. Whoever said: “I think the show writers will have a LOT of angry fans on their hands if they don’t follow through with where they were leading us with House and Cuddy this season” must not have watched the 1st two seasons, because they are going to have even more angry fans if they don’t follow up with what they spent 2 entire seasons (& parts of season 3) setting up — a House/Cameron relationship.

I would be “whoever” :D . I have seen every episode of HOUSE. I never really felt the writers were serious about House/Cameron as any more than a story about her having a crush. I know they went to the monster truck show together but I didn’t see that as any more than a one-off. I don’t feel he was ever shown as having any real interest in her. I’m sure the House/Cameron fans feel differently and good for you guys! :)

It figures. We see the exact same thing — only in reverse. To us, House just playfully sexually harasses Cuddy for the fun of it and never has had any serious intentions towards her. He sure as heck doesn’t look at her the way he looks at Cameron. I don’t see how their “non-date” can be construed as a one-off in light of all their other interactions, including that kiss.
But, to be fair, in the short term, it looks like you guys will get your way. Both the women (Doris Egan has been indicating), and Katie Jacobs has been saying for several months now that they were going to have something between House & Cuddy in Season 4. Luckily for us, Season 4 is not the LAST season.
(Personally, I’ve honestly come to believe TPTB are having fun playing the character of “House” themselves. I think they are intentionally screwing with all us shippers for their own amusement, just as House would do. Either that, or they all suffer from a bad case of schizophrenia.)

Cameron like House alot but most of the time House just plays around with Cameron’s feelings, [you know sex jokes and what not] But when he’s with Cuddy it’s a bit more serious. Everyone knows House likes Cuddy but on the show he tries alot not to let it show as much.

wat is soo wrong with Foreman, Chase and cameron that they have to be replaced? i think they should still be in House in season 4 especially cameron and chase because i personally have waited so long for them to get together officially n when they finally do they leave? WTF!!! Huddy forever! i want the old team back sooo badly! but they did say that teh vrew will be back but not under houses command.

The idea that the writers have, for the first two seasons, been “leading” us to a House/Cameron relationship is ridiculous! In season 1, after being extorted into a date with Cameron, House not only declared unequivocally that he had no interest in her but explained the misplaced reasons for Cameron’s interest in him as well. And at the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2, we saw Cameron acknowledge that the only person that House could love was Stacey. In season 2, we saw how devastated House was when Stacey left. But he did not turn to Cameron. Rather he chose prostitutes and unusual drug use (even for him). In season 3, when his leg was healthy, House jokingly “asked out” Cameron for the sole purpose of proving his theory that she would have no interest in him when he was healthy. And finally, near the end of season 3, it became more and more conspicuous that the writers were steering Cameron toward Chase and House toward Cuddy. So, no I do not think ANYONE should have reasonably expected House and Cameron to “hook up.”

True new ducklings MIGHT be interesting but we already have three years of character growth in a show that moves at a snail’s pace as far as character development goes, if they start from scratch it’s going to SUCK!!! I have to agree with ‘Karen R’s’ comments, it seems that after 3 years of watching the Characters Cameron, Chase and Foreman grow. it would be a shame to just have them on special guest apperances on the show, I think that the story line of the Characters was good, although the cases were intriguing, i watched the episodes to find out about the characters, Was House ever going to be nice to Cameron, was chase ever going to stop liking House’s unorthodox methods, would foreman snap with all the crap House gave him?

Honey was a character (a “nutritionist”) in one episode who was hyped in TV GUIDE as House’s “new love”. That particular show ended with him meeting her in a bar for a date but luckily for EVERYONE we never saw her again.

This is totally ghey. Sif the shows producers decide to spontaneously axe three of the six main characters!!
This reminds me of the old adage “if it aint broke, don’t fix it”. Unless the three musketeers became greedy and started asking for a pay packet that would jeopardize the profitability show then there was no reason to can them, especially since the ratings have been going through the roof.

I still have faith that the show writers are going to pull this off BUT I, too, thought of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” when I first read all this. HOUSE finished in the top ten in the ratings for the season–I think it was number 8 but I’m not positive. Number 8 out of 100+ shows doesn’t generally scream, “wow, we’ve got to shake this show up to get people watching!!!”.

I agree with Karen R. too much change is NOT good. Its the characters that make the show. They cant just get RID of three of them. One i can handle. but all three?????? Sure itll b interesting to see how house interacts with all the newbies but the show just wont be the same without the old crew. Oh well. At least wilsons still there. Him and house have got the BEST FRIENDSHIP EVER. u must admit,
Also, Season 3 finale was a bit of a dissapointment. House wasn’t nearly as witty as he is usually. He was just being a jerk. Can’t wait till Season 4 to see how the writers will fix all of this!!!

Ok heres what i think i rekon everyone is goin to come back. coz they havent finished the chase and cam thing and no show ‘kills’ 3 main characters of a show.
as for them bein guest appreances i dont think thats goin to happen, altho i do like the idea of cameron gettin sick and then house hires them all back that away.
o as 4 house/cameron i think that was long gone its time 4 new ppl, like house/cuddy, cam/chase
and in the end house probably fires all the new characters but thats just my hope…

I did read somewhere that Omar is moving on “the first Black president?!” so it’s plausible that Chase & Cameron come back. How the writers manage this will be a challenge. Seriously though, so long as Hugh Laurie, Robert Sean Leoard and Lisa Edelstein are on the show, I’ll keep watching. I watch because of the House/Cuddy/Wilson relationship more than anything else, and although I’ll miss Chase, Cameron and Foreman (especially Chase) and I’d like to see the three of them in every episode, I’d settle for recurring guest roles. New blood can’t hurt, I guess. So long as the writers don’t try to force House into any more idiot relationships with women half his age (Honey, Cameron… need I continue?)

First of all… I don’t know, peolple have different points of view. In my opinion, house should stay with cameron…
- Yes, it’s true that their date went really bad (It was disastrous) AND that house told her he had no interest in her. So what? House is house. He’ll never tell her “Hey, you know what? I love you”. No! lol
- The “non-date” to see monster trucks meant a lot. They were both relaxed, and if he didn’t feel something for her he would have never asked!
- YEAH! Cameron is half house’s age! so? there’s no problem with that.
- My conclusion is, that if house stays with cuddy, house/cameron house/wilson fans will be disapointed. If he stays with wilson, house/cameron house/cuddy fans will be disapointed. And so on. So anyway, some people will be sad and unhappy. But well, it’s all up to the writers!
And, that i respect other people with different points of views. Maybe you guys are right, but when you get in to something like this… it’s very difficult to get out! Lol =)

Lu, you’re one of the very few reasonable and sensible Hameron shippers I’ve ever met. Congratulations. Most are more rabid than the Hilson-ers, and we’re a violent lot, let me tell you. :D
When I said about Cameron being half House’s age… I’m not saying that it’s impossible for a guy in his mid-forties to have a relatinship with a girl in her late twenties. It’s just a leetle unrealistic to have almost every one of House’s possible love interests, save Cuddy and Wilson, about half his age. Not just Cam, but Honey and Ali as well. And I’m sure that there are others.

I can’t stand Cameron. Keep her with Chase or give her to Foreman. Then I can TiVo past all their since I’m not crazy about any of the three old ducks. BUt I think they might end the whole series with a house/cuddy relationship. And I would guess only 5 season will exist.Cuddy isn’t needy enough for wilson. So, maybe not this season for house and Cuddy but soon. Yes, very soon. Oh yeah, and Huddy forever. :D

How is House/Wilson lame and unrealistic? Even the writers of the show have acknowledged it as a possibility. It’s just as likely as Huddy, and, by the looks of the way the show is going, more likely than House/Cameron.

he does get his old team back. it says so on a house website. also cameron and chase are supposedly married. cameron is head of ER, chase is a surgeon i think and foreman works in a hospital in new york. cuddy re-hires them without telling house:D

In the begining of season 4 house hires 40 ppl 2 replace his 3. foreman is working in another hospital and has his own team but quits. i cant rember about cameron and chase tho. look on utube there are some really good interviews!

So people seriously decided Cam and Chase should be together BEFORE the show started? Why? Because they’re both pretty?
Anyway, my opinion on the love triangle-quadrangle-pentagon thing is I support HOuse/Cameron but i know that other people disagree. i Do Not think the time spent in seasons 1,2 (and to some degree 3) building up Hameron was a bad idea or a waste of time. IMO, they’ll work because theyre different and House/Cuddy are just too similar for a long-term relationship. I think they just Threw in alot of Huddy all of a sudden because though i admit House and Cuddy have good Chemistry, there wasnt too much romantically until season three.
Cameron likes Chase but they’ll never end up together because shes in love with House.
Cuddy and House are going to have sex, but again IMO, that relationship is going to be short term.
House’s closest bond is with Wilson and id rather have House with Him instead of Cuddy in the long-shot, because as i said House and Cuddy are to much alike.
i think House will probably end up alone by the end of the series(With Wilson as his Best Friend), but we all know theres gonna be a fling with Cuddy and if us Hameron supporters get our wish, House and Cameron will have had a relationship too.

I hate the whole “hameron” thing too! I mean, i have nothing against cameron, but the fact of her and house dating or being together, flirting etc makes me hate her. :D
i’ve looked up her age (jennifer morrison) and she is EXACTLY 20yrs younger than hugh laurie! wat kind of example would they be setting if hameron happens!? has the world gone insane? lol these days its ok to be with someone with that much age difference? ok, so if they really love eachother! like really! and house and cameron dont even have any chemistry on-screen (well nothing compared to huddy).
i just think its stupid and dont agree with the whole hameron thing.
house and cuddy. now there’s a couple made in heaven! they are simply perfect for each other. for one thing they both have blue eyes :D need i say more? lol…
they really have a lot of sparks between them in al ot of episodes. i loved episodes “who’s your daddy” “half-wit” “airborne” and others with huddy action.
cameron should be with chase. they would be a fine couple :D i’d like it to be like that: house and cuddy, cameron and chase. its only obvious and logical. lol

Im a House/Cameron fan all the way.
I like cuddy, but i think if they were to end up in a relationship, it wouldnt last very long, i can see House gettin tired of her lol
And i think that most likely there wont be any house/cameron goin on til the last season of the series which i hope will be a loong time from now, cuz i love watchin House and i dun want it to end

Is it only with House?? Cuz alot of shows havent been comin with new episodes lately and i dun think i can wait til the end of jan.!! :(

mhh i think the thic producer and writer so äähhh. ok u make a show, the show watcha bunch of million people, ok we love HOUSE. and what i see. season 4 lost 3 or 4 episodes. the old crew NOT COMPLETE back ?!! abolutly f****. OK new mates is easy and great but i miss sorry WE miss (thoused of people i think millons of us MISS iT . OK make in season 5 the old crew back
