Jesse & Jennifer Have Officially Split Up

Unfortunately, the news is true. Jesse Spencer & Jennifer Morrison have ended their engagement. Here’s a quote from Telivisionista:
“House” co-stars Jesse Spencer and Jennifer Morrison (who also stars in August 25 Lifetime movie “The Murder of Princess Diana”) have called off their 8-month engagement, their publicist confirmed on Wednesday.
The stars (pictured here in new official promotional stills for “House” from FOX) appeared together at a recent Television Critics Tour party flashing their engagement rock for the paparazzi.

I saw this coming. Typical Hollywood “love” crap. I’m sick and tired of events like these. I didn’t care from the start because I knew this would happen. Guess what? I was right.

look i loved them 2 but not all couples last, they were going out for a while. maybe they are going to wait to get married until house is over (hopefully not soon) cuz if they got divorced that would be real bad for the show. whos wit me???

I read that they were still a couple, but weren’t engaged anymore… which isn’t such a bad thing if you think about it, unless they have some sense in them to know when they are ready to get married or not… not just rush things and then get a divorce =S

Guys, if u listen/read it properly the DIRECT quote is that the enagement is off there is no mention of the relationship. dont jump to conclusions.

well if you read into it more….like research, it tells you more about it, saying that they are still in a relationship, but no engagement….

can’t find anywhere it says the relationship is off, only the engagement, agree with mariafe. i won’t jump to conclusions either way til one of them goes off with someone else = they are made for each other!

In my opinion it is completely understandable and very smart and very mature of them to decide not to get married, i think they did this to save their relationship (it is obvious that they love eachother very much) and to avoid problems on the show (if there marriage was to go wrong). The show is far too important to both of them for them to jeopardize it with marital problems, plus if you add to this the fact that they are going to be a couple on the show (at least for a few episodes) this season it would have been too much preassure for them to handle.
Up until now they have lived in seperate residences because they knew how important it was for them to each have their own space but if they were to get married they would be together 24/7 (on set and off) and i don’t think that there are many marriages that would survive that.
Jennifer has also expressed concerns that people will be constantly comparing and confusing their fictional relationship (Cameron/Chase) with their real life relationship (Jennifer/Jesse) and putting it under the microscope.
All they want to do is draw the media’s attention away from there private life and stay focused on the show and on their work. They are both very young and very talented and are a very important part of the driving force behind the success of HOUSE!!!
Since the Creator and Producer of “House” David Shore and his band of trusty writers have gone to all the trouble of elaborating storylines to bring these characters back to “Princeton Plainsborough” it is pretty obvious that they are going to be on the show for quite some time to come, probably until the series ends (2 or 3 more seasons), otherwise it realy wouldn’t make much sense to go to all this trouble to bring them back just for one season.
Make no mistake about it Jennifer and Jesse are back on “House” for the long haul and that was probably the deciding factor in their decision not to get married. They are going to be on “House” for a long time to come and this is why they want to downplay their relationship and have it go back to being a private affair as it was in the begining.
I also agree that when the show is over they probably will get married.

Marcos ur soo totally right, at first i didnt read the whole article and i just didnt read anymore because it apset me. But im soo glad they still are a couple but they agreed not to get married which is a pity.
Thats why i got confused cuz the magazine said they called off the engagement but shes still wearing her ring.

I think they might have broken up as a couple, too. Nobody’s really sure; not even Lisa Edelstein, who, as a co-star, would probably know. Ah well. I hope they both find happiness…

I really cryed a LOT, when I knew it ! Like, they were just PERFECT, and I was really glad about the whole wedding thing, cause they ARE both IDOLS, for me ! But, I STILL BELIEVE they can get together again, cause I’ve read on a gossip site (hoho) that they still talk a lot, laugh a lot, and look at each other with diferente eyes… Get me ? hoho, althout they insist that they’re just friends, I believe on them REALLY MUCH!
