House Spoiler - Almost!
The latest Ausiello report has this little gem about the upcoming season of House:
Question: Is there any hope of House getting a new love interest in the new season?— Sophia
Ausiello: Depends on how he feels about fast women, because there’s a speedy one headed to Princeton-Plainsboro. An upcoming patient-of-the-week story will revolve around a Danica Patrick-esque NASCAR driver. In a separate episode, House will tend to a patient with a craniofacial deformity à la Eric Stoltz in Mask.

If they show him having ANY interest in other women this year (besides Cuddy I mean) ;) I just hope they are women he really WOULD be interested in. The rerun with “Honey” :P aired this past week and I was reminded all over about how far-fetched that whole idea was. I am SO glad they never went anywhere with it–hated, hated, HATED her!

Okay, I like the news but I wonder how Cuddy will react if he does begin seeing someone that’s not Cuddy herself [which will suck so much >.

Janice I totally agree with you…but he must be interested only in women that their name(s) is Cuddy……:)

I like him w/ Cuddy…it would be awesome if Stacy came back for an episode- as the patient! THAT would be heartbreaking. And at the end she’d get better and leave again. Perhaps she could become delusional and tell House that she’d told Mark about the affair, and then House would confront Mark, but it would turn out that she was delusional, it was a symptom…and her life w/ Mark was over. What do you think?

Wow, I like Lola’s idea…

I only like the idea of Stacy’s life with Mark being over if House is shown already having moved on. That would teach her! I don’t want them together again. She’s old news for me. I’d rather her not return to the show in any form. I’d prefer a storyline showing House interested in someone completely different and have Cuddy realize she is jealous and have her have to face that. She could try to fight it but then House could break up with the new person and they could go on from there.

Janice, you should write the storyline, I like your ideas the most…:)

I totally agree w/ Janice; I didn’t clarify. After the whole thing where Stacy was confused and you could tell that she wanted to keep having an affair with House and hide it from Mark…I really started disliking her. I think Cuddy’s a way better match for House; she’s witty and most importantly, she’s not weak like Stacy. She would never jerk House around, and she’s tough enough not to be offended by his ways. It would never work, of course, Cuddy being his boss and all, but it would be a great and, let’s face it, inevitable storyline to include. I hope if they bring in a new interest for House, she’s actually interesting and that they develop her character a little. Not like “Honey” (shudder).

nima, Lola–thanks! :) Something else about the end of the Stacy storyline that got me mad (besides her thinking she was hot enough where House would agree to keeping things secret) was the way Wilson acted like House was WRONG for making her GO BACK TO HER HUSBAND. And they say Wilson is the “good” guy? House can’t get ANY credit, I swear! He does the right thing and people still give him grief. He can’t win.

Omg you have totally right about that.I mean, I love Willson but sometimes I don’t get him, he can be a real jerk occasionally!

Haha!! I finally got a question answered!! I don’t think this character will be a love interest for House though. I think it was just Ausiello’s way of divulging a little tidbit he found out.

Yeah, Wilson’s great and all, but sometimes his moral judgments are way off. I mean, seriously, he tells House that he wants to be miserable to be special. Huh? And this coming from a man who has cheated when married, been divorced, and slept w/ a patient.
