The October 1, 2007 issue of TV Guide had this half-page coverage of the Band From TV playing at the TV Guide after-Emmy party. Jesse Spencer joined the band to play the violin and Desperate Housewives star, Teri Hatcher sang along.

Hugh Laurie Interviewed by Hollywood.com

Hollywood.com did an interview with Hugh Laurie and in it he discusses several very interesting topics, including these:
HW: Women love House. Do you think they want to save him?
HL: I don’t know if that’s true really. Clearly this is a troubled character. There was an episode, one of my favorite episodes ever of Star Trek, favorite moment in Star Trek was when Captain Kirk looks over the cosmos and says, “”Somewhere out there someone is saying the three most beautiful words in any language.”" Of course your heart sinks and you think it’s going to be, “”I love you”" or whatever. He says, “”Please help me.”" What a philosophically fantastic idea, that vulnerability and need is a beautiful thing. Actually, House is a character in need of human contact and some kind of redemption. That “”Please help me”" aspect I think is an important element in the show.
HW: What was it like to be made a member of the Order of the British Empire by the Queen?
HL: I haven’t been honored by many Queens in my life [so] not many things to compare it with, but it was a huge thrill. Of course it was a huge thrill. I went to Buckingham Palace and I put on a royal set of tails. I spoke to her for about 14 seconds. I think that is all you are allowed, which I completely understand. She’s got to do 100 people in an hour. You got to keep it plucking on. It was a very big thrill.

House Is Subject of Honor Presentation

According to the Tribune-Democrat, the TV show House will be the topic for the presentation to honor an outstanding doctor. Here’s an excerpt from the article:
Dr. James Furnary, a Johnstown physician who has served in leadership positions for Conemaugh Health System, will be honored Oct. 22 at the 2007 Apollo Award Program.
Dr. John Lantos of Chicago, a Johnstown native and nationally known medical writer and ethicist, will deliver the keynote address based on a popular television medical show.
The presentation is titled “House, M.D. – Role Model or Impaired Physician?”

House Recap Episode 4.01 – Alone

The show began with a building collapsing with people inside.
Then we see House in his office playing his electric guitar. Cuddy enters and tells him that he has a patient who was pulled out of the rubble of the building. He tries to ignore her, but she persists.
She tells him that the patient has a fever of 104. He said he can’t take the case because he has no team. She tells him to hire one.
Cuddy: Have you even interviewed anybody?
House: You’d test drive a car before you buy it. You have sex before you get married. I can’t hire a team based on a 10-minute interview. What if I don’t like having sex with them?
LOL! I love this show! Thank goodness it’s back!!
