No one said that Lynn did a bad thing. I just think if people want to see these paparazzi photos, they should go elsewhere. IMHO

Goodness garcious me, he is lovely though isnt it?
While I’m all for giving man some privacy I think it is important to point out 3 things a)his show is extremely popular and with that paps are a normal thing
b)when you think about it, he was spared from them more then most cos he does keep a low profile and
c)he is from England you know how merciless the tabloids are there? They spare noone.
So I dont think Lynn did a particularly bad thing… if it was a pic with his children or something, then I’d object…
Anyhow I just hope his family and Hugh himself are ok… oh and I know the subject of the blog is House, but if you do want to see Hugh in all his dufus glory check out either Jeeves and Wooster or Black Adder… you will love it

I’m totally with you, Lynn. The pictures have already been taken, right? Nobody’s gonna leave Hugh alone, just because we don’t post their photos. There’s always going to be a market for celeb photos, that only stops when they are no longer celebs. And much as I love Hugh…I still want him to be in successful shows and movies!

Lynn, I never thought you personally took the pictures or paid for them. Don’t know what you think of how I’d go about deciding whether or not to post but this is what I’d do: I’d only post pictures that didn’t look intrusive. These current pics clearly look (to me at least) like he’s pretty bothered about the whole thing. Too close for comfort.

Ok, folks, I’m weighing in on why I posted this. First off, I never pay for these things. I got this from a fan forum (notice the source link.) And I never take them myself either. The photos already exist and are being circulated on the ‘net.

My job is to give you as much information about the show, the cast (including Hugh…) and anything else relevant that I can. And a lot of this site’s readers like to see these photos.

I understand Hugh’s dislike for being photographed, but know that it’s inevitable. What am I to do? If my readers mostly want to see the photos, and they are already out there and free, I feel an obligation to those folks to share them.

On the subject of pap photos (sounds a little nasty, eh? maybe it’s an unfortunate contraction for paparazzi. better make it pprzi photos ), I feel sorry for Hugh, but…yes, the great but… debate. He’s a celebrity. They ALL get photographed doing mundane things. Some of them like the attention, but most of them don’t. And yet, they survive, somehow. It comes with the job. I pity Hugh, sure, and wish they wouldn’t hound him, but I think that going so far as to boycott pprzi photos is ridiculous. I’m sure Hugh, with his perfect sense of humor and modesty, would agree, and would be quite embarrassed by the the huge fuss we’re making over this. (Let the hate mail start…now!)
