Writer’s Strike Update - Possible Good News for House Fans!
The writers’ strike may be wrapping up sooner than we feared. No guarantees, of course, but this is the official statement sent out this afternoon. (keep your fingers crossed…)
STATEMENT REGARDING AMPTP WGA NEGOTIATIONS
LOS ANGELES, November 29, 2007 – “The AMPTP today unveiled a New Economic Partnership to the WGA, which includes groundbreaking moves in several areas of new media, including streaming, content made for new media and programming delivered over digital broadcast channels. The entire value of the New Economic Partnership will deliver more than $130 million in additional compensation above and beyond the more than $1.3 billion writers already receive each year. In response, the WGA has asked for time to study the proposals. While we strongly preferred to continue discussions, we respect and understand the WGA’s desire to review the proposals. We look forward resuming talks on Tuesday, December 4.
We continue to believe that there is common ground to be found between the two sides, and that our proposal for a New Economic Partnership offers the best chance to find it.”

well i hope the writers would be satisfied with this proposal and the strike would end so that we’ll get our weekly dose of new episodes of house again hehe :D

OH GOD, I’m relieved. But I’m still pissed off that we don’t get new ep’s until January in any case. The holidays are the perfect time to grab a mug of hot cocoa, snuggle up with the kids, and watch a heart-warming episode with nice old Dr. House. Right?

i loved cameron and chase and foreman. i wish they come back. i always wanted house and cameron to fall in love. i hate the new people

If the writers are good (which they have proven they are) why can’t they write something creative and fresh for the old characters? The House I fell in love with had House/Cuddy/Chase/Wilson on it. Please, give them some real screen time :)
