Hugh Laurie German Magazine Features

Hugh Laurie has fans all over the world, not just in the US and the UK. Here’s proof. He was featured in the German In Style Magazine sometime during 2006.

And here’s another German magazine feature of Hugh from sometime in 2007. I’m sorry that I don’t know what magazine it’s in. If anyone knows, can you please drop me an email so I can share it here? (What a time to not read German!)

Hey,
I’m living in California right now as an exchange student from Germany and I just discovered this site - by the way, you folks should be happy living here. Though I watched House in Germany, too, it’s way more fun over here. The jokes and the voices are just way better in their original.
Anyway, the second magazine is “Stern”, the German word for “star”, but it’s usually not about stars but about politics & culture. If you want to be mentioned in there you have to be more than Britney Spears ;-)
In case you guys want a translation of the things they are saying, let me now ;-) Though with the inStyle magazine it’s pretty easy to figure things out ;-)

The second magazine in German looks exactly like a version of the magazine Web Md that was put out a couple of years ago. I have a copy at work. I will have to scan it one of these days and sent you the links. Good article.

as someone mentioned already the second magazine is called “Stern” which is a weekly magazine with a rather good reputation, not on tabloid or other celeb magazine niveau.
feel free to email me if you need translations from german into english ;-)
the title of the article means “I wished I was more relaxed(laid back) - American tv doctor House is as pleasant as a gastrocopy. British actor Hugh Laurien is still surprised at the series’ success - and would like to have more time again for his family.
