The Affects of the Writers’ Strike…Not All Bad!
I just got this email from House fan, Ruby, who has found a great way to pass the time while the writers are out on strike. She spent the past three weeks creating this needlepoint portrait of Hugh Laurie.

So if the strike continues for a while, she could have portraits of all the House cast members. (And I hope she sends photos of them all to share with us!! - Thanks, Ruby!)

That is an amazing piece of artwork.
Luckily, I haven’t really followed any shows for a while except The Office, so the strike isn’t that painful for me. I fell behind on House just as the third season kicked in, since I was in school and sharing a TV with five other girls who’d rather watch MTV. Now I still don’t have cable, nor money to buy the third season. My birthday is this spring, though…hopefully the writer’s strike will be LONG over by then.

I actually prefer watching past seasons because this current season has left me somewhat disappointed so far. I’m eternally grateful for dvd box sets!

I know what you mean, Sadie. I have enjoyed the silliness of this season, but I really miss the intense stuff. Past seasons have been intensity with sprinkles of silly/ comedy. This season has reversed. I love the new additions, but I miss the old close knit vibe.
More Writers’ Strike Creativity!!
