Lisa Edelstein Has a New Project
January 16, 2008 by Lynn
Lisa Edelstein has joined the cast of a new movie for the Lifetime Movie Network called Special Delivery. Right now, the plan is to release the film to air in December 2008.
Lisa’s character in the movie will be Maxine Carter who is a bonded courier with a young girl as to deliver from her father who is in China to her mother who is in the US. The girl will be played by Disney Channel actress Brenda Song. During the trip, Maxine apparently finds out that there is a trap meant for her and her charge when they get to the US, and she is tasked with protecting the girl.
With the writers’ strike in full swing, Lisa has found a great way to stay working. I’ll fill you in as more info about the project is released.

That’s great news for Lisa, thanks for posting.
Do you have more infos about the cast members?
I just wanted to let you know that I e-mailed Ausiello asking him about this and he e-mailed me back asking me where I got the info and I let him know where. He heard it first here.

This sounds cool! I don’t care much for Lifetime movies, but this might be all right.
Oh, I commented on the wrong thing. heh heh. I was talking about that spoiler from the Ask Ausiello in the post before, though I’m sure you figured that out.
Yay Lisa!
BOO BRENDA. That girl couldn’t act her way out of a paper bag.
