Hugh Laurie Nominated for SAG Award – Be Sure to Watch on Sunday
Our man, Hugh Laurie has been nominated for a Screen Actors’ Guild (SAG) award and actually may be able to accept the award on TV. The SAG awards are on e of the only award shows not being cancelled by the writers’ strike, so we will get to see some great red carpet photos this time. The event will be Simulcast Live on Sunday, Jan. 27, on TNT and TBS
at 8 PM ET/PT, 7 PM CT, 6 PM MT.
Here’s Hugh’s category:
Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series
- JAMES GANDOLFINI / Tony Soprano – “The Sopranos” (HBO)
- MICHAEL C. HALL / Dexter Morgan – “Dexter” (Showtime)
- JON HAMM / Don Draper – “Mad Men” (AMC)
- HUGH LAURIE / Dr. Gregory House – “House” (FOX)
- JAMES SPADER / Alan Shore – “Boston Legal” (ABC)

I think the award will be between Gandolfini, Spader and Hugh Laurie. I really hope Hugh win this, I think his character as House is the most complete one, the best of all them.
