Hugh Laurie at Super Bowl to Promote Frozen Episode

February 4, 2008 by Lynn

Hugh LaurieAccording to Buddy TV, Hugh Laurie felt awkward going to the Super Bowl yesterday, but was told to go to promote last night’s episode of House that aired immediately after the sports event. Here’s an excerpt from the article:

As for Seacrest and his red carpet interviews, they were sufficiently awkward. Though it definitely seemed out of place in a football pre-game show, FOX did have four hours to fill, so the interviews were welcome. I definitely didn’t need any more football analysis. Hugh Laurie’s interview was the weirdest, as he and Seacrest tried to avoid the shamelessness of his appearance. Laurie, a Brit, had never attended an American football game before, had nothing of worth to say about the game and was only there because FOX wanted him there to promote the new episode of House that aired directly after the game.

  1. I just love this man, and I can only wish I could meet him and shake his hand, and/or give him a hug and tell him how much I love the show, and I think he is great !!!

  2. Sheila says:

He is British, a great actor whom I admire for putting so much hard work into a show giving endless pleasure to us lazy Televion junkies. I say he can dress any way he wants to and who cares if he only has a few comments on a football game. He puts in a 10 hour day. You are COOL hugh. Love you to bits. Sheila.
