House is One of the Smartest Shows of All Time!

According to comedy writer Jim Levine, Jim Werdell, the chairman of MENSA, has picked what he considers the ten smartest TV shows of all-time. Here’s his list:
- M*A*S*H
- Cosmos
- CSI
- House
- The West Wing
- Boston Legal
- All in the Family
- Frasier
- Mad About You
- Jeopardy!
I’m shocked that Mad About You and Boston Legal are on the list. I mean, what is he thinking?

um… the x-files, law & order, just to name a few. Also, i thought Veronica Mars was pretty smart but you have to look pasta lot to see that so I can see why it’s not on the list.
Mad About You was a horrible show, and M*A*S*H could not be considered smart at all. Those MENSA folks are pompous asses. Veronica Mars: good pick.
i´d say gilmore girls, because of its witty references to pop culture and great writing!
and if boring mad about you is on…then where´s friends??
i think that friends should be on there, gossip girl (even though its new), and house should be #1

Well, obviously people are going to have different opinions about what should or should not be on the list. I’m happy House is on there, as well as M*A*S*H. I can understand why Mad About You is on there - the MENSA people are right; it did have a very witty repartee. I wish The Daily Show had been part of this list.
