Question: I’m dying for some House scoop. Seriously. I’ll bake you cookies. — Lyaman
Ausiello: Good news: The two-part Super Bowl episode that got sidelined by the writers’ strike will see the light of day this May. According to a Fox insider, the scripts will undergo a little tweaking and will now serve as this season’s final two episodes. Series creator David Shore tells USA Today that in the second of those two, House will get in an accident and lose his memory of the preceding hours. “He’ll be finding out what he’s forgotten and its significance,” says Shore. “Bringing his memory back is crucial.” Gimme my cookies!

oh my gosh, this season is going to finish off good.i can waite for season 5,if there is one,are they going to be a season 5?

  2. sarah says:

I think the ending is sounding a bit cliche…house is in yet another life threatening situation. But eh, i’m exited. It should be good.

I can’t wait for season 5, there’s some spoilers out there from David Shore about what’s going to happen, I just don’t wanna post them here and spoil everybody :x

  3. Narenika says:

But you can link them :) please do – I’m hungry for any news..

  4. lola says:

That sounds…like it might be interesting. But it’s a little soapy. They’ve had a lot of soap opera-style turns this season, and I don’t like it…House electrocuting himself- gasp! 13 is bisexual- gasp! Wilson’s dating Amber- gasp! None of the subtle character growth of seasons past…the best thing about the characters was how real they and their situations seemed. Nothing crazy happened, and it was for the best.

    thanks for the link! :D

    ANOTHER FRICKIN ACCIDENT??!?!?

Wow…..the writers need a dose of orginality.

  7. Por says:

    Very GOOD NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    sound interesting

  8. Camille says:

thanks for the early info…i think i shall spread this to other house blogs and messageboards…

  9. Katie says:

Interesting that ‘David’ makes this comment about the ratings for House falling, when all other evidence points to the contrary. Also, delaying viewing wouldn’t increase ratings, sharing this information with fans wouldn’t assist in raising the ratings, and you really should edit your posts if you want to sound credible. Nice try anyway though.

  10. Ruby says:

I don’t know what House “David” is watching, but the House that I watch has no ratings issues whatsoever. Any other show on the planet would kill for House ratings. The post SuperBowl episode was the show’s highest rated episode ever. Additionally, the episode was FOX’s highest rated scripted series telecast in over 10 years in Adults 18-49 as well as in 11 years in Total Viewers.

Long dry spell without any news of what is to come. Now we have The New York Times reporting from David Shore the following:
“On Fox’s ‘House,’ …the planned story arc for the second half of the season ‘is pretty much being thrown out,’ David Shore, the show’s executive producer, said. ‘We have to see how much we can salvage.’

“The series, among the most popular on television, is not likely to broadcast new episodes until late April or early May, Mr. Shore said.

“But ‘House,’ like several other hits, may stay in catch-up mode through the early summer. ‘I think we¹re just going to keep on producing episodes now that we¹re back in production,’ he said. ‘We’ll start working on next season.’”

  12. anon says:

Yeah, great, “David”. Who falls for that kinda thing, anyway? What a loser.

  13. Lola says:

I see that David’s comment has been removed- good! What kind of sad, sad person goes to a House blog to post “official” news that the show is failing and won’t be renewed, for the sole purpose of upsetting everyone there? However, it is nice to hear from Ruby that there’ll definitely be Season 5. You never know!

  14. John says:

House is awesome! but i would like the writers to think of a MUCH MUCH better way of ending the season.. i mean dont get me wrong i love the way its gonna end but i would like something better also and more original…. But i can wait till April 29th when the new episodes come in…GO HOUSE!!

  15. Ruby says:

John, I see your point, I do. However, they have a limited time to end things due to the strike. It’s easier and faster to rework scripts that have already been penned. I trust that the writers will make these episodes amazing to make up for the dry spell. Also, I am not so bothered by the idea of House being hurt again. The first time this season was self inflicted, this time it won’t be. I don’t see that as that much of a stretch.

I think we all should just run with this with a positive outlook. They are doing the best they can on short notice. I have complete faith that next season will be phenomenal. Just crossing my fingers that we will have a House after that. Hugh is only contracted through season five. We’ll see what happens then. I am sure his family will play a factor in whatever happens after that.

  16. John says:

yeah i think that re-writing the scripts of the Super Bowl Episodes will ok.. i would like to see what they come up with… I also am glad Mira Sorvino might be coming on to the cast as a full time cast member.. i think this might be internesting..

  17. lola says:

BRING MIRA SORVINO BACK!!! That would be the best girlfriend for House, ever.

  18. John says:

thats right…. she would be good for house

  19. paula says:

oh.. i don’t know what to say.. it’s so strange i think.. don’t you?, but it will be so interesting between the relashionships on house!
that’s okay, i like for the moment :)

  20. John says:

yeah, the relationships are interesting, but i really liked the relationships between House and the lawyer, Stacy.

  21. Grace says:

I LOVED House with Stacy as well.
