Hugh Laurie is TV Guide’s Cover Model Again

Here’s the scoop on the House finale:
The grumpy doc’s neediness led to Amber’s shocking death. Can Wilson ever forgive him?
Executive producer Katie Jacobs tells TV Guide, “I don’t think their relationship will ever be the same. Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) has been cleaning up after the elephant for years. Because House (Hugh Laurie) is so self-absorbed, he relies on Wilson to [fix] his mess. This time it will really cost him…The audience should worry about the future of their relationship.”

Hah…Wilson and House, never the same?
You know, I really have no idea why Wilson should be mad at House. I mean, House called WILSON to pick him up, not House, and offered to take the bus home by himself anyways. And House tried so damn hard to fix Amber’s illness, so I don’t see why Wilson should be so very pissed at House. I wouldn’t be.
On another note, WHAT ABOUT HUDDY?!?!?! That last scene where Cuddy was holding House’s hand and obsessing that he was awake, was that not cute?
Oh, and let’s not forget House’s injury. How will this affect his smarts and wit? DX

I have to agree with Lindy. it wasnt his fault. accidents happen and its never anyone fault. If Wilson is that stupid then well thats his problem..heheh
Also in case Hugh laurie ever looks at this site. he is definitley bringing sexy back!

Of course Wilson will blame House for Amber’s death; House always expects Wilson to bail him out of trouble, and this time, Wilson was busy and Amber tried to help out, perhaps in an effort at a truce in the struggle for Wilson’s attention. She even followed House onto the bus to give him his cane back, which he had left in the bar, and then was stuck on the bus when it started up. (She didn’t need to take the bus, she came to get him in her car, remember?) If House hadn’t gotten so drunk that the bartender took his keys, if House hadn’t called Wilson for a ride, if House hadn’t left his cane in the bar….Amber would have been alive.

I don’t think House is to blame, why didn’t they get in her car? But I do think that he will kind of change his ways because of the talk with Amber after she died. I do think House has a right to be a bit peeved at Wilson for asking him to risk his life for Ambers.

How is that House’s fault? I mean, yes, technically he caused her death, but you can just as easily say that it’s all Foreman’s fault because if he hadn’t resigned, the old team would still be here and House would never have even met CTB. Or Wilson’s fault for dating her in the first place, or the bus driver’s fault for causing the accident, etc. It’s ridiculous. House should be furious at Wilson for making him risk his life- great friendship there, Wilson! And how long have Wilson and CTB been dating, anyway? Not more than a few months, and yet Wilson already makes House do suicidal things for her.

I guess the relationship will be over. It’s very sad, but I can’t wait for season 5. It’s so wired… Season 5… I still can’t believe that House has been on for so long… I hope it continues to season 30 ^_*

I know it’s not enough to get most people drunk, although technically even one drink can impair a person’s ability to drive, before they become legally intoxicated.
I think TPTB probably didn’t wanna give a bad example about DUI (only House is allowed to do that apparently) and decided Amber should also take the bus :P I don’t think it was only because of the cane. But that’s just my opinion. CHEERS =D

I agree with lola about the suicidal things.
I think that Wilson shouldn’t be mad at House. After all, he asked House to risk his life. House could have died, but he still asked him to do that. It’s not like House never risked his life before (97 sec, You don’t want to know), but this time Wilson preferred Amber’s life over House’s.
Besides, we still don’t know what consequences there will be to House. What if he can’t walk, or even worst, he can’t talk. Did you notice that since House woke up from his coma, he didn’t say a word? When he tried to talk, Cuddy stopped him and made him wink, so we don’t know if he can talk.
Wilson may be mad at House, but House may be mad at Wilson as well because of this consequences.

HE got on the bus, SHE got on to give him his cane which he left behind.
So many things they can do with season 5, I can’t wait. I live for it.
