Check out these new spoiler photos FOX just released for House episode 5.05, Lucky Thirteen. I know there are those of you who don’t like Thirteen, but she’s growing on me. I think I like the way they are developing her character this season.

where the hell is chase?
I can’t believe we are getting yet another episode about boring frickin’ 13! Another episode I won’t be watching, and I hope that if House were to fire 13 it would actually stick and she would leave forever.
@barb: would you prefer watching an episode about Taub or even Kutner?

How can somebody actually like 13?! Seriously, we know so little about the original team, I don’t care about some oh so “mysterious”, but actually very boring character.
I’d take an episode about Kutner any day over 13. There’s just way too much 13 and I agree Ally, we only know small little tidbits about the original team, and here we are getting stuffed with all this 13. One day they’ll run out of storylines for her and she’ll just have to leave.
I really like 13, she is growing on me because she is so mysterious and we know so little about her. We learn a bit every episode. Though they seem to be doing that with all the characters, there is just something about 13 that makes it that more intriguing.
I dont think this means anything to anyone but I was a huge house fan before season 5, season 4 was hugely dissappointing and now I havent even see one episode of season 5, sorry house crew its not your fault, its the producers and the writers who ruined a good thing, now there is never an emmy hope. good bye house even though I love love love hugh Laurie. maybe he shouldnt have bought that house in LA afterall

I really miss her!
She didn’t even have any air time in the second episode.
I will admit that the private investigator is the best thing to happen to House since the last episode of season three.
But we’ve already tested the waters, and we’ve concluded that no one likes Taub, 13 or Kutner. So for the sake of the integrity of the show, just give them the ax and (if they want a SLIGHTLY bigger cast) introduce more interesting characters like the private investigator.
But PLEASE, NO MORE of the new team.
Anna, that is exactly how I feel. I LOVED House and would not stop talking about it when it was the first 3 seasons. Come season 4, and it was just a hugh disappointment. So many of my family and friends don’t even bother watching it anymore saying that it is incredibly boring now. And I agree with them.
I also agree with Barb and Jade. We’ve basically already had a whole season that showcased this new team and the idea of the new team. But it failed to live up to it, and instead they have slipped by the standard of what we usually expected when we had Cameron, Chase and Foreman. There was just something about the way they interacted as a team and with House that really showed that yes they are one hell of a team, but also because they were believable and I could see that they were doctors. Now I just see some water-down version of the real deal just rattling off medical jargon in a very flat and boring way.
Also the fact that 13 is getting an episode named after her and yet another episode about her is just ridiculous. Instead of shedding the light back on how they are going to integrate Cameron and Chase back into the main picture, they go again with one of the worst characters that I have ever seen.
Sorry, but I can understand women dislike 13 - Olivia Wilde is just too beautiful for other girls to tolerate her. Women are bitchy that way, jealous andcompetetitive in a way men are not. 13 is a great “mystery character” with an edge.
Also, Season 4 played out nicely, or so it would have without the writers’ strike (remember?). The only disappointment for me was that “Ridiculously Old Fraud” didn’t stick around, I liked him a lot. Otherwise, the “weeding-out” of the appplicants was masterfully handled by the writers.
Looking forward to more of Season 5.
Well just to make things fair, I know a few people who like 13. I don’t mind her, she seems like a nice girl. Besides, being bi sexual myself — I find her devastatingly sexy. =)
I also like Kutner, he’s funny and kinda cute. I can’t look at him without thinking of Kumar.
Of course I would take the old team over the new team ANY DAY, as I am a DIE HARD Chase fanatic. However, I do think that we should stop being so hostile about the new time. I don’t know if they are temporary or permanent, but thats not up to us. I love this show because I love House’s character and I love the medical mysteries. I am willing to accept the new team as new characters to the tv show and am interested to see how the writers will use them.
I think 13 is great, I really like her. Olivia Wilde did it very well. How can you hate her?yes, I want the old team to be back too. House’ll Fire Taub and Kutner but keep 13 with the team.

I don’t understand why people think the only reason why they dislike 13 is because she’s too pretty or whatever and therefore we are jealous. That is the lamest reason and it appears to be the only reason why people even may say they like her! I mean you obviously just omit the fact that many many people who don’t like her have given extremely valid reasons such as the bad writing for the character itself and how predictable and over the top the storylines are, or even the fact that Olivia Wilde does not seem to be able to even handle the portrayal of this character. So no no, let’s just overlook actual legit reasons for disliking 13 and just say we are all jealous. *rolls eyes*

First of all, if we want to talk attractiveness, Jennifer Morrison is MUCH more beautiful that Olivia Wilde.
Secondly, 13 is hardly mysterious. If anything, Cameron is more mysterious - we know so little about Cameron. So to even say 13 is more mysterious than Cameron shows how utterly out-of-touch with the first three seasons you are.
Thirdly, I have a problem with 13 not because of her appearance, but because of the annoyance of her character in general. Jealously has nothing to do with it. I really can’t see why anyone would be jealous of her to begin with. She has nothing to be jealous of.

The only one of the new team that’s growing on me is Taub…no idea why 0_o
13 is ok (I won’t switch off the tv or anything), but meh I don’t think I’d care very much if she left…
Still…if she’s in a scene with House himself I don’t really care, I’ll just stare longingly at him for a while
I really don’t understand why some people seem to have such a hatred for 13, but to each his own. I find her very appealing and of the newbies, she’s my favorite.
She comes across as scared and vulnerable, yet you never doubt that she is capable and can hold her own around the others; she can be sassy or sarcastic, without actually coming across as angry or rude; she seems sad, yet she lives a very lively lifestyle. She’s sort of a walking contradiction, almost an enigma, which I find rather interesting. And even though he seems to make her incredibly uncomfortable, she can stand up to House, which I absolutely love. She’s for the most part respectful of him, yet she doesn’t take his crap and she can give back as good as she gets from him. (Hey, he did drug her first and make her think she was experiencing Huntington’s symptoms. He deserved what she gave him.) I’m not too thrilled that they decided to actually make her test results for Huntington’s positive though. I would have preferred they make it negative and move away from that storyline.
In any case, the scenes between 13 and House (both the dramatic ones and the comical ones), are some of my all time favorites of the show. I’m really looking forward to this episode! But then again, I look forward to them all.
I didn’t watch the first ten episodes of the fourth season, it was rather boring to watch. I’m a devoted fan of the show to, since day one. I love Hugh Laurie. I’m not crazy about Thirteen; I’m 50/50 with her character. But, I am sick and tired of hearing about her Huntingtons and dead mom, etc. Taub to me has the most interesting back story about the whole ‘cheating on his wife’ deal.
Also, Jennifer Morrison is prettier then Olivia but Olivia is still exceptionally beautiful. Jennifer adds so much more depth and feeling to her Cameron. Cameron’s character is my favorite and I feel is stronger then Thirteen. Cameron has grown the most and obviously everyone has grown with her. I didn’t like her at first (first season) second season and on I loved her.
She is soft, sweet and caring with a hard-coreness to her. XD And she is the MOST mysterious. We know more about House then her. Wilson’s up there too. =] I was never a fan of Chase…no idea why. I loved the puns though…so white! But he is adorable and so is his accent. Foreman is one of my favorites though. I miss the old team but maybe the writers have some HUGE thing being planned with this team. I personally want to see Cameron/Wilson. *shakes head* They totally confided in each other about Amber’s death, it was rather sweet.
I’m not going to give up on the show. I’ll keep pressing onward. I HATE that Wilson is barely on because the show is REALLY boring without House and Wilson moments. Those are priceless and classic. My bff and I quote those two all the time. She is House and I am Wilson. XD
I could careless if Thirteen goes or stays; maybe the writers should take a new turn with her or open up Kutner’s story or something. It wouldn’t make much sense if they got the old team back together…the last season would’ve been pointless if so. I’m glad they at least kept Foreman in the group. 1 original duckling is better then none!
If you stopped watching the show,then why do you bother commenting on upcoming episodes? This makes me think that you are having House withdrawals and should be put into a coma for rapid detox. Or else you should just break down and admit that you DO still watch the show. If you don’t, you missed Birthmark last night, which was hands-down one of the greatest episodes ever. If you missed it because you stopped watching because “boohoo, there’s a new team,” there’s a strong possibility that you are a moron.

And I DID see Birthmarks and it was excellent. Just because I didn’t like Season 4 compared to the other seasons doesn’t make me a moron. How old are you? 13.
Guys, I know not everyone is going to like thirteen, but I love her. Sure cameron was “mysterious” and all, but she was WAY too easy for House to mess around with. thirteen is smart and im glad the writers brought in new characters. the way they chose them and eliminated them so carefully was incredible.
thirteen is obviously going to offend some people, but she is a gorgeous woman and completely different then anything we’ve ever seen in House. I loved season 4, and I havent seen season 5 yet but i cant wait! Even if people are upset about thirteen, no need to get mad at people who happen to like her. Olivia Wilde is genius, and im really glad the writers are exploring thirteen a little more, shes just so different.
By the way, I REALLY agree with Ellen, she’s got it right on!
See, I like Thirteen. I’m UBER excited about this episode. Anytime I see her on the screen, I squee like the little fangirl I am. I don’t know what it is about her that I like so much, but I’ve adored her since the beginning.
I also really like Kutner! And Taub is really growing on me. Didn’t care too much for him at first, but I’m starting to really like him. And just so y’all know, I love the old team too. Chase is awesome, as is Foreman. And I like Cameron as well. Yes, I’m a Thirteen AND Cameron fangal.
Anyways, this episode really excites me. I so can not wait until next Tuesday!

I’m SO excited every time I see Thirteen/Remy. She’s so confident, and holds her own against House. Although I saw some clips from “Lucky Thirteen” on the official site and he has been pretty cruel to her lately. I feel bad for her that she has this horrible disease.
I’m also glad they still show you the old team, cause as much of a pushover Cameron was for House to make fun of, she and Chase were pretty cool.
Someone let me know if any of them are good enough to spoil early and watch online, cause I really want to know!
Okay, what’s up with Lucas, the P.I.? I really loved him in the other episodes and they barely showed him in this one. Granted, I know this episode focused on 13, but I think Michael Weston’s character has a lot of potential. What’s going on here? I heard they were going to do a spin-off serious starring Michael as Lucas. Does anyone know anything about this?

This episode was amazing. Did anyone see Houses face after she said adoption. There was actual emotion and when he looked at Wilson…..Wilson was amazed at seeing a spark of humanity in his friend.
