Spoiler – Season Finale:

House and the team are intrigued by Scott (guest star Ashton Holmes), a man whose left brain and right brain operate independently, leaving him with two distinct personalities and no control over some of his actions. As the two sides of Scott’s brain struggle for dominance, his warring personalities make it increasingly difficult for the team to figure out what is causing the unique problem. The team is forced to use some unusual methods to get him to cooperate with their necessary testing. 1. Sally says:

Will House be checked into the looney bin? Will House & Cuddy continue their affair? Will Cameron & Chase actually tie the knot?

I’m pretty sure the answers will be as following:
Yes to loony bin (halluzination plus filming at an old psychiatric hospital screams YES ;-) ), no to Huddy (we know it’s not going to end well, and that it won’t last for long too), and I highly doubt that Chase and Cameron actually get married. If they do, it’s doomed already, because, yeah, we know that it’s unlikely there’s going to be an happy end for these two either. And I can’t say I’m sad about it (all of it, not just CC but especially Huddy not ending well).
I don’t want to wait till autumn to find out :-(

  2. D.R. says:

From what I’ve heard, Chase and Cameron will not get married because if they do, then Jesse Spencer would quit (he said that in an interview some time ago…). I wished they would because they are so cute together! And I hope that Huddy will survive!!! Anything can happen…..

  3. Maja says:

    guest cast: AMBER???

  4. ruth says:

oh man i was not expecting that twist. i can’t believe everything was an illusion. I was totally freaked and upset for house. needless to say…i cried when house walked into the loony bin….

  5. Katya says:

Now that I read the cast list more attentively, Kal Penn was there all along as Kutner…
That was a twist, wasn’t it. Amber scares the sh*t out of me =(

  6. Louis says:

Can’t believe anything you see on this show. Silly twist, and tried for waiting for huddy to really happen. I’m done with this show.

  7. Jane says:

It is getting so silly and tired you dont know if you are watching a dream or the real thing I am not watching next season,

  8. Tony says:

Can’t say much. I really liked it. Sniffed out the coming twist when he figured out the pancreatic diagnosis on Reiner. Sat straight up when Kal made his appearance.

    Can’t wait ’til the Fall.

  9. Sadie says:

I thought the finale was great! Just in case I don’t want to make anyone angry
****SPOILER*** I loved it when House finally puts it all together and they show both the hallucination and reality scenes. Very cool. I wish Chase and Cameron wouldn’t have gotten married but it did make a wonderful contrast in the final moments with House and Wilson driving to admit him. I can’t wait to see how the new season will begin…

  10. Greg says:

UhOh!!! Err… Anyone got a time machine here? I left mine in the other pants. Think we all want to travel forward in time to see the start of next season.

  11. marianna says:

All a hallucination eh? Sadistic writers! No consideration for our wants and feelings. All I can say is they better reward our patience with a REALY COOL house-cuddy hook up scene in season 6. Or else….

  12. Greg says:

Don’t know, but it feels like “Greetings from St. Elsewhere”…
But then, I still have that one internet forum where I get to play House for real. And the best about it: it’s real medical stuff – no fiction there! Cool, huh?

  13. buffy says:

I called the hallucination a few weeks ago, although I am sad to see I was right. So sad. Can’t wait until fall! Or the Season 5 DVD!

  14. Greg says:

    Hi buffy,

you can pre-order the DVDs at amazon.com. I already did so.
    Can’t wait – same here.

  15. Mogsta says:

I always find it amusing to see the people who say ‘I’m done with this show!’ because the outcome of an episode wasn’t what they wanted it to be. If the show was written to be what everyone wanted, it would have no surprises, and be pretty boring. A happy huddy ending would have left nothing to desire in Season 6!

  16. Allyson says:

Mogsta, I totally agree with you. I am a HUGE House/Cuddy fan and was so upset when the episode first unravelled to find that all of those moments were fake..and personally I think the fans waiting and waiting for these “Huddy” moments could’ve done without the false advertisement from FOX, but after taking it in, the episode was amazing. It left me so sad for House that this whole time he didn’t realize how much he had really hurt her – in his mind they had gone to another level. And his mixed up diagnosis was brilliant. I can’t wait to see how they start season 6!

  17. Jenn says:

I enjoyed the finale because it makes it pretty impossible to figure out what will happen next season (will house treat patients from the loony bin?). I really didn’t think the Chameron wedding would happen, so that was a nice surprise. I think both actors did a great job with those scenes (can we say, salt on the wound? yikes). i plan to go back and re-watch the finale now that I know how it ends and see what different things I can pick up on. I wish we didn’t have to wait 4 months until season 6!

  18. kit says:

Well at least he wasn’t having a dream, although when you think about it, waking up from a dream vs. discovering it’s all been just an a hallucination, is not a lot different..I enjoyed the show and yes there was a tear when the door closed on House. That part was sad. I still think with a genius like Hugh Laurie on the show the writiers can go ‘out there’ a little more, obviously the stranger the show the better Laurie is. He gets a 15 out of 10 for his performance on the past three shows, I think he did an amazing job of acting crazy. I look forward to season six not to see House and cuddy in bed, but to see yet again another season of amazing acting by Hugh Laurie. Keep up the good work on the Houseisright website, I enjoy reading the thoughts of other fans……… Great work.

  19. Christy says:

*tear*!! i cant believe the seasons gone! I love this show. BTW, i wil NOT stop watching House. At the beggining, i thought it would be a bad episode! but it made me cry! i cant believe house went to the loony bin! I guess this will make me exited for fall, and going back to school. I, for one, actually DID think Chase and Camron would get married.

  20. Comanchepilot says:

Didn’t Jesse Spencer look just a little bit wistful in that scene? Knowing how real life turned out.

I was actually hoping for a little bit different reality twist – it would have added a whole different ending if the last 10 min is House waking up after the near death last year, Amber is still alive, and the entire season was a dream sequence from his battered brain and he can try to make season 6 better.

Can you imagine? No wedding. No 13/Foreman, no dead Kutner. No dead Amber.

And what is with House being on Oxy now? No more Vicodin but the even more powerful and psychosis inducing Oxy. ouch.

  21. Randy says:

I didn’t care for the episode at all. I saw only a few minutes of the end of last week’s episode and this was just a continuation of all that mind games junk. Worse than the whole “imagined season” of Dallas all those years ago. There’s no way he’d not have known that he didn’t sleep with Cuddy (or that Wilson wouldn’t have sniffed it out, either). The show seems to have jumped the shark (if it didn’t already when they hired the new team).

  22. Kevin says:

The writers gave the fans what they wanted (HUDDY SEX) without really going there. We seen this before in many other tv shows in the past where the writers will prolong two people getting in a tv show in fear that they would loss audience interest after. Classic TV. Done many time before. The part I don’t like is how Fox went though so much trouble to mis lead us. I didn’t like this ending at all. I’m DONE!!!

  23. annekarina says:

Hmmmm…I was afraid House was going to try suicide himself after watching a rerun of the bus accident. Amber ghost plainly told him to “get off the bus”. Slang for an Alt Internet suicide group. “Catch the bus” means one is going to suicide.

  24. marianna says:

Even if the show wasn´t as interesting as it is, I would still tune in to watch it…. hugh could read the telephone book and still be exciting and sexy.

  25. Jenna says:

I am a huge Huddy fan and am just furious at this finale. My room mate and I are thinking about just giving up our House addiction next fall. Sick of being jerked around.

  26. Rhys says:

    @Jenna
All because it didn’t go the way you wanted it to?
If it did that, it’d become predictable and boring.
Anyway, there’s next season for your Huddy desires to come true.
