House Season 6 Premiere Dates Announced!

FOX just announced the premiere date for the 6th season of House.
Monday, Sept. 21
8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT – HOUSE (2-Hour Season Premiere)
Monday, Sept. 28
8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT – HOUSE(All-New Episode)
That means we have just a bit over three months to wait before the new episodes begin. I’ll be watching for spoilers, photos, and any other info I can get my hands on to share with you before then, so be sure to check back here often for the latest House news!!
I’m already wondering:
- What’s going to happen to House now that he’s been admitted to the mental hospital, presumably for detox?
- Will Huddy finally have a chance this season?
- How will things go for Cameron & Chase, now that they are newlyweds?
- Will the team dynamics change with Kutner long gone?
- What’s the future for Foreman and for Thirteen’s illness?

I can’t hardly wait till Season 6 of House 2 more weeks and counting. I love this show and I don’t watch tv but I will sit down and watch House. I would like to see Cuddy and House hook up, my fiancee thinks it would ruin the show.
House needs to keep his personality just the way it is but over come his drug addiction. This show just keeps you wondering and it is very intense which is a very good thing.
“If” House does stay on ‘rehab’ he will be a hole lot meaner, when he comes out. But I am not complaining House is a hole lot cooler when he is mad an makes fun of people. In season 5 he was hilarious. But the first episode not so funny.
For those who DO NOT know, Kutner, (AKA Kal Penn) Recently got a job with the Federal Government for the United States as a Liason. He was killed off the show because he could no longer be an actor in House. Chances are you won’t too far into his death.
PS, Promo guy it’s “Cuddy” not “Huddy”
Wanna see House, the movie? the two hour premier is about as close as FOX has plans to make for House. As the show itself was in pending for longer than anyone would like for it to have been, ratings have dropped because of people watching it on the internet. Come on guys! Support Hugh Laurie!

I’ve watched every episode, multiple times, quiz me, I dare ya 
So Chad,
I’m sure others have corrected you already, but I wanted to let you know that Huddy is short for House-Cuddy and the relationship that they will/may have. If you really are House M.D.’s biggest fan, you would’ve known that and wouldn’t have made an ass of yourself.
Let me give you a quiz.
What do they call House and Cuddy together?
House and Cuddy? Wrong. It’s Huddy.
Hi Chad – Right you are on Kutner. I think it’s altruistic of him to go into Government even though he will be greatly missed from House and he would be, and hopefully will be, great as a visiting “ghost” / imaginary figure returning to House’s delusional mind and memory. Now, I believe you are a real fan. I am as well, although I admit, I power watched the Shows on marathons on the USA Channel- It was” so enjoying. But Chad, to your comment, I believe calling Cuddy and House together Huddy” is just dumb and uninventive. I’m not a big fan of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt together, but I think it’s also uninventive and dumb, and annoying when people refer to them as one person by calling them “Brangelina”. Very, very infantile.
Something that I’ve thought and heard some people say is that Kutner and possibly Cutthroat Bitch have possibly always been figments of House’s imagination as he’s becoming wackier and wackier. He’s not just wacky from the Drugs and Drug habit; that would be too boring and unimaginative or mundane for him. He exhibits characteristics of a manic-depressive person or someone experiencing delusions of grandeur. Many famous and powerful people are and have been manic depressive, such as Abraham Lincoln, Menachem Begen, Sylvia Plath just to name a very few, so functioning as a brilliant Diagnostic Physician is not a stretch.
Now, think about how interesting it would be if these delusional characters (Amber and Kutner) continue to speak with him. I don’t know about everyone else, but Amber is a terrific actress, and losing her was sad (if that is real). Having Kutner back for guest appearances as an imaginary figure would be fantastic along with of course Amber.
Note: Kutner was almost too much of an alter ego for House. I’ve thought: Amber is real, Kutner is not. Any thoughts? Am I crazy?t
I would like more shows like Wilson’s Heart and the previous Episode as part of that two-parter (I know, I should remember the name)where House fades into a Psychedelic realm as he pieces things together – how cool is that. And, it might be interesting to have various parts of the past brought up again as delusions, where we see the real or alternate scenarios.
I admit, I don’t want to just see House being a pain in the ass at the Behavioral Health – Mental Institution – the latter fits better, especially the way the building is. It looks like a State or County run facility.
A true House fan enjoys and gets the dark and cutting humor. Let’s not make everything sunshiney. Then, House will be like every other Show and copycat show.
There are a few originals left, including Heroes, which never ceases to come up with an incredible story plot.
Also, there is Law & Order Criminal Intent, which I love and thoroughly enjoy. And, I enjoy getting the different partner pairings – mix / match.
I’m open to thoughts and criticism. I probably should have made more constructively critical comments.

Its now the 11th september 2009 and the UK, where I live has only just seen the final episode on SKY 1 of season 5…… it will be another 6 months till we get to see season 6, No Fair !!!
Chad, the ‘promo guy’ Said nothing wrong. It’s ‘Huddy’ for [H]ouse and C[uddy] > [Huddy]. It’s like a shortcut for the relationship between them.
Mark, think facts a little wrong. Final episode on Sky 1 is September 27th and according to a Press Release I saw on web the other day, Season 6 starts on Sky on 4 October, i.e. the following week! Also the Sky Mag for September said ‘look out for Season 6 in October,, thankfully we wont have to wait at all!
i hope house will have achance with kuddy cuz they seem right to each other and love to see house will stay in his cool and being ajerk .

In response to Mahriya I hope that Amber never comes back. Every episode with her in it is extremely annoying and I wish she would disappear and never come back. I really hope the syke ward cures house so Amber never comes back again!
If House wasn’t already the greatest show on television, just read the fantastic news that you are going to be getting beautiful sexy sensual Franka Potente on the show as well! It will make for some very interesting love connections ! Let the fireworks begin! I cant wait !!

Hi everyone I am soo excited for the start of Season 6… I live in the UK and watch everything online because I cannot stand the suspence…so I WILL be watching online when house starts in 7 days in the states. Although I do pay to watch house online.
I love house I have seasons 1-4 on dvd and as soon as I can get hold of season 5 and 6 I will!!
Hugh Laurie portrays House in a fantastic way and it makes me love him as a character and an actor more!

Season six is coming up and there are a few things I would like to see. The biggest thing I don’t want to happen is House getting off the vicadin. For me it makes the show when he pops a pill and then lets out a whitty remark. I don’t want Cuddy and House to get together. That will, in my opinion, just ruin the show. If the crudeness towards Cuddy is lost, the show just wont be the same. The last thing I want to happen is for their to be more Cameron. She is so hot and feisty and I would like to see more of her just screwing with house and being more involved in cases. She’s the one who knows how to stick it back to House.

i just wanted to comment to chad who says he’s the biggest house fan ever. if you are, then you’d know that “huddy” is the combination of house and cuddy. just like “brangelina” isn’t a real person, it’s brad and angelina.
in the last ep of house season 5. you should and figured it out, does House want to be the man with answers or the man with cuddy ( cuddy = happy ).
but when House tried to be the man with cuddy he wasn’t the man with answers.
that’s in my opinion.
Some of these people have really crazy ideas…To answer the questions…
1) House may partially comply with detox but not completely, that would ruin his character, no way the writers are going to mess with House’s biting sarcasm for too long, many people watch b/c of it, probably similar to the start of Season 3 where he is no longer on Vicodin
2) Maybe…I think the end of Season 5 was what the writers had in mind…real relations between the two could end the series
3) I don’t know, another subplot
4) Of course
5) I don’t know, again a subplot
Also the idiotic use of “Huddy” refers to House and Cuddy as a couple similar to Brangelina…people who watch the show primarily for romance should stick to Grey’s Anatomy
Them coming together would ruin the show, it would make House accessible and caring, it’s likely going to be an on again off again relationship until perhaps the final season…
Sexual tension is a huge dynamic between characters, and a reason to watch…keep in mind the writers are writing to stay true to characters and draw viewers, minor characters can change but House will generally stay the same.
Season five box set, the episode with the commentary gives a spoiler for season six.

Haven’t looked forward to another season of a tv-serie since ‘24′. I hope House will stay as he already was and that they find another person on the team to follow up Kutner. Further I hope that Wilson hooks up with Cuddy and maybe they do some other unexpected thinks in this season!!
This will be a very exciding season. Been to the 2 hour premier of season 6 last night it is awesome no words to describe it …. Can’t wait for more new episodes already!!
For those of you that live outside the U.S. You should try going to Hulu.com usually 5 days after original air date to watch the show. Not sure if there are limitations like the BBC did for me with Merlin since I do not live in the U.K. but it’s worth a try. Plus ALOT less commericals played.

i think Kutner is real because he was involved in scenes that did not include House, like when everyone was being being trialled for the job. Remember when House fired him because he set someones heart on fire, he came back as number nine instead of six, and the others complained? If other people interact with him, he cannot have been a figment of House’s imagination. Or maybe i’ve misunderstood you entirely. Just my thoughts.

Mark…..we will be shown Series 6 in October in the UK, everyone thought we would be late getting it but we wont as the writers strike held everything up in the USA not here in the UK. By the time we finish series 6, we will be caught up with USA!!
Wow, I have just watched House season 6 episode 1 which is called Broken.
At first I wasn’t too sure and I though that they had maybe just ruined house, however I was suprised to see that it was true house greatness, also the ending is such a cliffhanger to me, okay he’s been allowed release from Mayfield, with a letter suggesting he gets his medical licence back, so does he go back and the episodes just go back to the usual in princeton plainsboro, or does he go do something different. I don’t know and I have to wait a whole week to see it Aggggg!!!
Can’t wait for season 5 finale to show on sky1 on sunday, it does not matter how many times I watch it i still cry when house realises him + cuddy was all a delusion…Love it!
Ughh… I missed the 2hr season premiere of season 6 somehow D: Are they going to show it agian?
Well after watching the two hour premiere of season 6, i’m hooked all over again. Do think that it leaves a whole new possibility open for storylines with house having developed such close relationships with the team at the institute. Cant wait for the next episode ….
And kudos to the producers / directors for a truly exceptional premiere. Keep up the good work guys

I personally think that House is proublably one of the most amazing, minding bending, wheel of fortune kinda shows. It captcher’s the mind of kids and adults. Its comes off as very hard to understand and complicated but really it is actually quite easy to keep up with all the different scenerios. Its a great show and I recommend you keep watching.
So what the hell happened to Season6 the last episode I saw was #9-Wilson. Are there more to come or is this the end of season 6 already???
