House Fans: What Do You Want Me to Ask Hugh Laurie & Katie Jacobs?

I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to help interview Hugh Laurie and House executive producer, Katie Jacobs this Thursday! I have so many things I want to know about season 6 of House, but don’t want to be selfish about it. I also want to ask some of the questions you want to know about too!

Since we have a couple of days to prepare for the interview, I’d love it if you could leave a comment on this post with your questions for Hugh & Katie and I’ll do my best to ask the most popular ones. It’s a conference call interview and there will a bunch of us asking questions so I’ll have to narrow it to the best couple of questions.
I want to know more about the relationships on the show and more about how House’s time in the psych hospital will affect him. I’d also love to know some of the cases they have coming up. But what do you want to know? Please let me know!

Katie, are you and David having fun torturing people who would love to see House and Cuddy in a relationship? First Lydia (worst thing ever) and second Lucas. Give us a gun. It will be faster.
A general set of questions for Katie Jacobs, namely — how far in advance is the production/writing staff planning the show? While the actors are filming the early/mid episodes of the 6th season, are she and David (and others) working out how this will affect the end of the 7th? And speaking of endings, Hugh’s contract ends in 2011, right? David’s already working on other projects; do we essentially have two more seasons to bring these characters to some sort of resolution or is it her sense that Fox will keep it going as long as they have half-decent numbers?
In what part of the story fits with Lidia with the house if ahy supposedly connects emotionally with another person, means that prior relationships with cuddy stacy and not emotionally involved?
a house is going to count for something your stay in the asylum or at some point will have been ahy regret that lost its essence

I still really want to know about the music. The music just keeps getting better and better every season. Every song they pick is perfect for the scene and story they’re trying to tell.
I still want to know if Hugh collects Gibson guitars and if those on the set are his personal instruments, and I want to know how much input he has about the music selections or who selects the music (since it’s always perfect), and even though he already plays piano, guitar, and harmonica in a lot of episodes, we’d like him to play in even more…

I really miss clinic duty. those were the best and funniest parts of the show.
Any plans on returning to that?
Why does Wilson have a ring on promo photos??
The characters seemed to be loosing credibility, are new writters familiar with all previous episodes and characters stories from all seasons?
To Hugh:
When can we expect ‘The gun seller’ movie?
Any plans of reunion with Fry? (on House or another show)
First off, I’m seriously jealous of you.
Second, I’d ask something a little more on the non-relationship side too: The pursuit of knowledge was once a major premise of the show, as long time fans and long time scientists/future docs who get a weekly dose of amazing (and usually medically accurate) drama from your show, will we ever see the empirical side of medicine again as opposed to an hour of “House’s Anatomy”? And are you aware of the politedissent blog that rates your science/medicine every week?
(Please note that im not trying to bash any romances, but in addition to a great drama, I also watched for an honest portrayal of the scientific method. Sometimes, not often, it gets sacrificed for a good romantic plot. And we all know that House is way better than Grey’s… this is just one of those reasons.)
Since House and Wilson take up cooking as a hobby after House’s release from the mental institution, I was wondering if Hugh and Rober-Sean picked up the skilles and are cooking on set for the team? If so_ does it have any resemblance with Hell’s kitchen?
I’d love to know more about Chameron(chase and cameron)realtionship… any scoop about them will be great.. we’ve waited so long to have them back…

Hugh: are you happier now than 6 years ago? Would you like the show to last much other seasons?
Katie: I need to know if Robert and Lisa will stay in the show for a long long time b/c I love this two (and Hugh, but I know he will stay forever) and I couldn´t imagine the show without them.
On the DVDs why were the bloopers taken out??? I loved them – so funny! I haven’t seen them on Season 4 or Season 5 DVDs.
I also miss clinic duty and some of the soap opera humor. I always thought House watching a hospital soap was funny.
To katie: is there a possibility of bringing back the character of stacy or doctor played by mira sorvino. Those two women have obviously great chemistry with hugh..and just a comment, if it’s really true that cuddy will have a relationship with lucas then i’ll certainly feel devastated. I dont think hooking up a woman like cuddy with a p.i is a good idea. They should have gotten her if not equally atleast almost intimidating character like that of house’s,a lawyer would be good. Plus lucas is younger than house and cuddy so i think it wont fit.
To Hugh: what do you think of house having a kid weather it’s with cuddy or someone else?
Not being a huge fan of ships, I would like to know why Chase and Cameron got married in the first place. It seems to me rather cruel of the writers to make them a couple after they got seperated in private lives. Isn’t that torture? If you can ask HL to give JS a kiss from me!!
I hope that he can answer my question about the guitar collection and whether he’s going to be able to perform musically on even more of the episodes. I’m actually asking that question on behalf of myself and other guitar collectors/musicians who are also fans of the show. We all want to know why his guitars on the show are all vintage Gibsons, if they’re his personal instruments, and if they’re going to let him have even more musical performance time on the show. His character House seems to find such comfort and emotional release in his music and I think they could continue to use that in the stories, especially as he attempts to recover from mental illness.
Does Huddy still have a chance? Say yes, Katie, please.
I am also not a fan of the ships but at least the writers and producers seem to be able to keep all this huddy/hameron/chameron stuff in check, and not let it dominate the show. After all, the relationships are only one small part of what makes the show so good.
PLEASE tell Hugh that his fans LOVE his fiction writing and want to know when his next book, “Paper Soldier” will be released. And most importantly if his completed screenplay of his book “The Gun Seller” has been picked up to be made into a movie!
Hey Lynn when are you gonna post here the interview? I’ve been checking this site since thursday and im really anxious to know.lol!.. Just saw the Emmy and i definitely feel devastated by hugh and house md not winning. Im just looking forward tomorrow for the season premiere,..can’t wait!!
