A lot of us were dismayed to find that House was bumped out of its usual time slot this Monday because of Major League Baseball. [Bah! Humbug!] And FOX knows that the baseball situation is unpredictable for the next couple of weeks. So they’ve given us a press release so that we can see what they plan to air, and when. It even gives us a heads up about what they plan to do if baseball needs to pre-empt the show. Here’s the run-down, along with some general episode descriptions:
Episode 5.12 – Painless
Air Date: November 2, 2009
At Cameron’s (Jennifer Morrison) urging, House and the team take on the case of a man (guest star Martin Henderson) living with such severe chronic pain that he tries to kill himself. As they try to determine whether the man’s pain is psychosomatic or caused by an actual disease, parallels between the patient and House become apparent. Meanwhile, Foreman (Omar Epps) and Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) explore their now-complicated relationship, and Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) finds that taking care of her newly adopted daughter leaves her little time to run a hospital and babysit House in an encore episode. [EDITOR'S NOTE: If World Series Game 5 is necessary, the baseball game will air live starting at 7:30 PM ET/4:30 PM PT, replacing HOUSE and LIE TO ME, and local programming will air in primetime on the West Coast.] [Source: FOX]
Episode 6.07 – Known Unknowns
Air Date: November 9, 2009
After a wild night out, a teenage girl (guest star Anna Attanasio) is brought to Princeton Plainsboro with severely swollen appendages. The team must work to diagnose the young girl, who is less than honest about what happened the night she fell ill. As her condition worsens, she becomes unable to distinguish fact from fiction. Meanwhile, Cuddy, Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) and House spend a weekend away from the hospital to attend a medical conference, but things don’t go as planned when House’s private investigator, Lucas (guest star Michael Weston), returns. Episode 6.08 – Teamwork
Air Date: November 16, 2009
After House’s medical license is reinstated, he reclaims his role as Head of Diagnostics in time to treat Hank Hardwick (guest star Troy Garity), an adult film star admitted to Princeton Plainsboro for pulsating eye pain. Meanwhile, Cuddy is reminded that Princeton Plainsboro is not conducive to healthy personal relationships. [Source: FOX]
Episode 6.09 – Ignorance is Bliss
Air Date: November 23, 2009
On the eve of Thanksgiving, House and the team take on the case of James Sidas (guest star Esteban Powell), an exceptionally brilliant physicist and author who traded his successful career for a job as a courier. For the ailing patient, intelligence is a miserable burden that has prompted depression and addiction, and this, coupled with a myriad of strange symptoms, nearly stumps the team. Meanwhile the doctors at Princeton Plainboro wrestle with strained personal relationships. [Source: FOX]

For the new eps in november, wasnt there a promo of them all bunched up together after last weeks ep of house?
So that actually means we have to wait two weeks till the new episode airs?
Episode 5.12 Painless aired last season
@Katya: Seems so. Though I must admit, I don’t like waiting that much either. Especially now that it got interesting. Meanwhile you could re-watch the last eps of season 6. I just watched the season pilot again… Will do so with the others until we’re back on schedule.
And for December…….absolutely NADA…NOTHING….NOT ONE EPISODE OF HOUSE!
Two eps. in Jan, two eps. in Feb, three eps. in March, two eps. in April,
three eps. in May. End of series.
@ Grace: uhm, I hope it won’t be the end of the series – just the season. I can’t imagine them not doing a seventh season… BTW, where’d you get that info?
Greg, Yes I meant season of course! I can’t remember where I found that info.
If I remember, I will let you know. I do know that it was from a VERY reliable source. Also, episode 10 is called, “Wilson”. WOW HUH??? Hope no one considers that a spoiler because I don’t.
Let me remind Y’all that Fox announced some time before episode 6 that Hugh Laurie was under contract out season 8. If it is produced is another matter i’m sure. At least his getting paid… Thats at least some affirmation? (sorry language -im a Norwegian)
sorry season 6…..
