House: Van Gogh-Style Portrait of Hugh Laurie
October 29, 2009 by Lynn
I am continually amazed at the talent among House fans! Here’s yet another very cool depiction the actor who plays our favorite grumpy doctor, Hugh Laurie. This time, House is Right reader Greg has taken a photo of Hugh and converted it to a style reminiscent of Van Gogh. I Love it!
I remember House and Nolan talking about van Gogh in one of their sessions back in “Broken”, so this is what I tried first. – Greg
I told him that the only thing that could make it better would be if it was in oil and in a full-sized portrait in my living room!
What do you think of Greg’s talent? Let him know!

Fantastic portrait. I am a big Van Gogh fan-went to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam this summer and the colors and style is such a great Van Gogh-like painting! Congrats. I think you should sent it to Hugh Laurie. It is that good!
And once again: Thank you very much! I really might consider sending this piece to Hugh.
Watch for more of my stuff here. I got another van Gogh style piece coming up soon.
That is awesome! You did amazingly great. I wonder how much you could make if you got Hugh Laurie to sign it.
@ Kyla: I was wondering the same… But then, I’m not into money, I did it for fun and for all the other fans out there to enjoy!
