Band From TV to Perform Live in Wisconsin Tomorrow!

November 20, 2009 by Lynn

Breaking News! The Wisconsin organizers canceled this performance at the last minute! This is horrible news, but true. I’ll let you know if it is re-scheduled for a future date. (I’m hearing that refunds for tickets will be available.) ~ Sorry…

By now you know that Hugh Laurie and Jesse Spencer, two of the main stars of House also play in a group called Band From TV. Jesse doesn’t sing, but Hugh will sing some of the time and both are fantastic musicians. Here’s the entire line-up for the group:

  • Hugh Laurie, aka Dr. Greg House on “House” plays keyboards
  • Jesse Spencer, aka Dr. Robert Chase from “House,” plays the violin
  • James Denton, aka Mike Delfino from “Desperate Housewives,” on guitar
  • Teri Hatcher, Denton’s TV wife, Susan Mayer, singing with the band
  • Bob Guiney of “The Bachelor” fame, also lending his pipes
  • Adrian Pasdar, aka Nathan Petrelli on “Heroes,” also on guitar
  • Greg Grunberg, aka Matt Parkman on “Heroes,” keeping the beat on drums

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, Band From TV will perform there tomorrow night to raise funds for a local charity:

“There’s such a need to raise money,” Grunberg said, adding that the group has upped the number of concerts it performs to help out. “Charities are really hurting right now.”

The band’s Saturday, Nov. 21, show at the Dane County Coliseum will raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, along with the other charities chosen by band members.

If you are lucky enough to live int the Madison, Wisconsin area, you won’t want to miss the concert…and help a very worthy cause! [And if any of you do go and get to take photos or video, please let me know and I'll share them with the rest of the House fans on this site!]

@ Grace maybe that is why it was cancelled…hahaha…anyway….last night’s episode made me wish that House came back from his three hour waste of time drive and smacked Cuddy in her head.House seriously needs to get some booty of his own.It made me think of that song by Kelly Clarkson..already gone….=(…I think Cuddy and Lucas are seriously mismatched. She is too intelligent too mature for Lucas.

:) Laughing at the above comment – so TRUE – I agree, House needs some booty seriously… that 3 hour waste of time drive that she sent him on, just to scam him – I mean seriously, hope he does get back at her good for that :)

By the way, Lynn – check your email – I sent you some links to youtube videos that have behind the scenes footage that was previously only available to the UK – it was just released on youtube for the US and rest of the world. The program was aired on UK television and it’s over an hour long, all behind the scenes footage from seasons 5 (and season 6 too, so far). It’s really, really interesting, and footage that we have not seen yet here in the US.
