According to the New York Times, Jennifer Morrison has already landed her next big acting gig. She’s going to be acting on Broadway in the new version of the classic Miracle Worker. She’s going to be playing Helen Keller’s mother. (Why not, she’s already played Captain Kirk’s mother.) ;-)

The producers of the coming Broadway revival of “The Miracle Worker” said that Ms. Morrison would join its cast as Helen Keller’s mother, Kate. Also coming onto the show are Matthew Modine (“Full Metal Jacket”), who will play Captain Keller, and Elizabeth Franz (a Tony Award-winner for “Death of a Salesmen”), who will play Aunt Ev.

The new Broadway production of “The Miracle Worker” will star Abigail Breslin as Helen Keller and Alison Pill as Annie Sullivan.

The play will begin previews at Circle in the Square Theater on February 12, 2010 and will officially open on March 3. I would love to see this on Broadway. If I do get to see it, I’ll let you know how terrific it is.

That’s great for her! Of course it means that she probably won’t be coming back to House… But Broadway is a great way to have a somewhat stable job, as a actress and still have fame and work on your habilities, I think, If I traveled to New York I would go see her there (: and I won’t comment on the fact that she has player a mother twice now oO’ and how weird is that… lol
