There’s exciting news for iPhone owning House fans! Just in time for the holidays, the new House MD iPhone Mobile Game has been released for the iPhone. And I get the honor of getting to give away two free downloads of the game.
Of course, I’m sure that there are more than two House fans with iPhones, so I’ll have to run a contest. So if you have an iPhone (or want to give a gift to your iPhone-owning friend who’s a House fan) just enter a comment on this post with your favorite House-Ism.

Summertime Site Housekeeping

Summertime Site Housekeeping

Yes, it’s summertime. In many ways, that’s a good thing. But for House fans, it’s a frustrating time of the year. We have no new episodes to watch and very little new information about the show to learn.
It’s especially tough for bloggers like me who try to come up with new and interesting things to report to keep other House fans occupied until the new season starts. So today I spent a big part of the afternoon updating the informational pages for this site. They needed new information added to make them current, especially the cast bio pages. And …read more

The Year One: Please Send Me Your Reviews

As many of you already know, House star Olivia Wilde is in the new movie The Year One that opens in US theaters tomorrow. She’s in good company, because Jack Black, Michael Cera, Oliver Platt and Hank Azaria are also among the cast members. It’s supposed to be a comedic look at a modern stone age….
Now, I have to be 100% honest with you, this just isn’t my type of movie. But I want my readers to know about the film and how well Olivia Wilde plays her part in it. So here’s my request for you:

Pondering Greg House & Vicodin [Guest Post]

Lauren J. Walter is a lawyer, writer, novelist & blogger who works in Garden City, NY. She uses Vicodin tablets to represent the beginnings of her paragraphs — very clever! You can read more of her writings on her personal blog, www.ljwwrites.wordpress.com.

icodin. That’s really what it all comes down to: House and Vicodin. As House needs the buzz to take away the noise of the everyday, the mutterings of the stupid and the malcontent. Without that noise, he can focus on the things that matter – the case at hand and House himself.

Olivia Wilde at Beckley Grand Opening

Here are some photos taken of Olivia Wilde at the Grand Opening of the new luxury boutique Beckley in Los Angeles.
I think she looks cute, but can’t figure out what the red and white stars banner over her shoulder is all about. Is it a half suspenders? Does anyone know?

Dr. House – Bad Guy or Good Guy? [Guest Post]

Cindy Eales is a statistics wizard and fan of House who lives with her two adorable “kitty-boys,” Max & Fritz in St. Louis, Missouri.
I’ve been a fan of House for years; and I’m always on the fence as to whether Dr. House is a sheep in wolf’s clothing or a genuine wolf. Just when I think that he’s an unfeeling jerk; he shows a surprising amount of compassion as in the episode with Dr. Kate Milton, the psychiatrist trapped in the South Pole who was forced to operate on herself.
Or, when totally alone with a …read more

Lisa Edelstein at the Monte Carlo TV Festival [Guest Post]

Mim is a French fan of House and wanted to contribute to our Blog-Off effort today. So she created this video of the stars she saw at the festival and sent me the translation into English. It’s even more impressive when you realize that English is not her first language. Thanks, Mim!
This video and translation from French to English gives us a look at many of the TV stars at the 2008 Monte Carlo TV Festival last week. Among the stars she captured were Lisa Edelstein, along with David Boreanaz of Bones, George Eads of CSI: Vegas & Adam Rodriguez …read more
