“Break Up The Concrete” – The Pretenders
“Shine On” – Eric Bibb
613 – Moving The Chains
“Rocket Science” – Teddybears
If you want to download any of these, you can get them on iTunes.

I love it that within a couple of hours of the end of last night’s episode of House I already had an email asking about the song on the show.
I managed to track it down and here’s the scoop:
612: Remorse
“Why Try To Change Me Now” – Fiona Apple
I wouldn’t have thought it was Fiona Apple, but once I found out it was, it made perfect sense. If you want to download it, you can get it on iTunes.

House: Deleted Scene From ‘Brave Heart’
November 4, 2009 by Lynn
Bravo! to Andrea for the heads up about this clip! It’s a deleted scene fromthe House episode, Brave Heart.
It shows House remembering some happy times with his father! That’s very cool! We’ve only seen him talk about his father like he was horrible. I wish they had left this in the episode!
Check this clip out, then I’d like to know what you think about it. Should it have stayed in the episode to give us more valuable back story on our favorite doctor? Or do you think they were right to take it out, since it didn’t add to the …read more

Get ready for a huge scavenger hunt to take place on all of FOX network’s shows! The event will be a celebration of The Simpsons‘ 20th year and will include House.
There’s a video clip on the FOX site that gives all the details about what kinds of things to look for and features many of the stars from FOX Shows. There are very funny clips with Hugh Laurie, Jesse Spencer, Omar Epps and Olivia Wilde.
I think it would be fun if we share the items we spot on House here with our comments. What do …read more

Episode 6.05 – Instant Karma
Air Date: October 12, 2009
On last week’s episode of House, the father thought it was the fact that he had been so fortunate in his business decisions that had caused his son to be dying. So he gave up all of his wealth because he believed it would save his son. Somehow, soon after he did it, House figured out how to save the son.
These were the diseases that the team touched on in the episode, but I added a link for karma. Most Westerners are not all that familiar with the …read more

Episode 6.04 – The Tyrant
Air Date: October 5, 2009
This episode of House was less about the diagnosis and more about the human drama of the Tyrant. He was a ruthless dictator in an African country who had committed genocide and other atrocities. I’m not totally sure they decided exactly what his ailment was, because he died before they got it completely tracked down.
I know that the last two links are not diagnoses, but are links to two actual countries that have had similar genocide and atrocities committed by dictators. If you aren’t aware of those sad/tragic …read more

Episode 6.03 – Epic Fail
Air Date: September 28, 2009
This is a link to the medical research that was done to write this episode of House. All of these diseases and problems were addressed during the various attempts to diagnose the patient. They really do their homework to get everything to be as accurate as possible for the show.
Since this is the episode where House becomes obsessed with cooking, I wish they had also given us some of those amazing recipes!
Complex regional pain syndrome
Mercury exposure
Cocaine facts
Psittacosis
Brain tumor
Thrombocytosis
Amyloidosis
Fabry disease
House: Snakes on a Cane
August 27, 2009 by Lynn
Snakes on a Cane is a really cool image of two snakes climbing up a cane that is so very similar to the medical logo, the Caduceus. The idea for the image was Hugh Laurie’s and when he old the folks at FOX and showed them his sketches, they created the image and made it into crew t-shirts.
In yesterday’s chat with Hugh, a lot of people asked if we would be able to buy the shirts with the image, but he didn’t answer that one. Perhaps he doesn’t know yet.
I do want to direct you to a site called …read more
