For those of us who are such huge fans of House that we own every season so far on DVD, here’s the chance to pre-order season 5. I’ve already ordered mine so I can keep my collection of House seasons complete.

That’s right, the actual cane that Hugh Laurie has used on the show is up for auction to raise money for charity. Hugh Laurie has donated House’s cane for the charity auction to benefit Robert F. Kennedy Center.

Included with the cane is also a set visit and a lot of other fabulous goodies for House fans. Here’s the detail:

A set visit for the winner and (1) guest to House which includes a set tour, a meet-and-greet with the cast and watch actual shooting. Winner must be 18 years or older. A personally-signed House cane from Hugh Laurie. A signed lithograph script from the Emmy-winning episode, Three Stories, a presigned Hugh and cast photo, House water bottle, coasters, flashlight.

As you might expect, the price is very high (currently at $25,000) but if you can afford it, hurry and bid!!

A while back, I let you know that there’s a brand new House-ism t-shirt being sold to raise money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). And here’s the latest promotional photo for the shirts:

Yes, the cast and production people who bring us House had yet another celebration for their 100th episode of of our favorite show. This one is different from the others in that they have a new charity t-shirt to promote to raise money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). It’s the second in their series of House-ism t-shirts to raise money for the charity and I like this one even better than the first!

My friends will tell you that my own personal motto for years has been that Normal is highly overrated. And now, it seems that House thinks so too! How exciting! You know I’m ordering a shirt! If you want one too, be sure to go here on the NAMI web site to get yours. You’ll also feel good, knowing that you are helping a very worthy cause!

Here is the most wonderful gift for any House fan! If they (or you!) don’t have any of the seasons of House on DVD yet, this 4 season boxed set would bring them totally up to date!! It will be released on DVD on August 19, but you can pre-order it now.
