Test Your Knowledge With the House Quiz!
April 2, 2009 by Lynn
An amazingly wonderful thing happened to me last week. I was asked by Parade Magazine to put together a 25 question quiz about our favorite show, House. Of course, I jumped right on the opportunity! I am honored that they asked me!!
Today, the quiz goes live on the Parade web site and I’d like to invite all of you to go take the quiz. I already know that readers of this site are above average in their House knowledge, but hope you find at least a couple of the questions challenging. And after you take the quiz, please come back here and let me know what you think of it!
TV Guide Takes a Look at the House / Wilson “Bromance”
October 12, 2008 by Lynn
Get ready to find and get a copy of the upcoming October 13th issue of TV Guide! In it, there’s a feature examining the relationship between House and Wilson. I think the cover image says it all, don’t you?
UPDATE! You can go see scans of the article here: [image 1][image 2][image 3][image 4][image 5][image 6][image 7]
Of course, Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard have to give their funny points of view on the topic:
Hugh Laurie: “Wilson and House have an unusual relationship so you have to explore all angles”
Robert Sean Leonard: “…not that there’s anything wrong with that”
The feature takes a humorous look into the romantic triangle between House, Wilson and Amber and concludes that the only possible solution was to kill off the character of Amber.
Hugh Laurie also offers this amazing insight that I love:
“In fact, and Robert may fight me on this one,” Laurie reveals, “but I believe this show is at heart about Wilson, not House. It’s Wilson’s view of the world that lets the viewer in. It’s his levelheaded narration, as it were, that provides a backbone for the show. As in the Sherlock Holmes stories, where Watson was writing about ‘my brilliant friend’ or ‘my brilliant, annoying friend,’ it’s the same thing.”
I laughed my entire way through the press release and without copying it straight into this post, I can tell you that the feature will be more than worth your time and effort to track down and get the issue!

Hugh Laurie is Terminally Sexy!
July 13, 2008 by Lynn
House fan Grace sent me this scan of Hugh Laurie from 2005 (does anyone know the original source?) It shows the most amazing photo of Hugh Laurie and tells of his diagnosis and prognosis as a sexy star. It’s very cute and he looks fabulous!

Lisa Edelstein Interview With Modern Dog
We all know that Lisa Edelstein is both a vegetarian and an animal lover, so it should come as no surprise that she was interviewed for this month’s feature in Modern Dog Magazine. If you are a subscriber, you can read the entire article, but there is a short bit of it on the web site to entice you into getting the issue. It’s a cute article and you can read about Lisa and her pets, but the cutest line was this:
And while I am tempted to ask this endocrinologist-posing thespian what she suggests I do for my cold, I have to remind myself that her convincing portrayal of the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital administrator is just that: a portrayal.

Olivia Wilde in LA Direct Magazine
House’s lovely number Thirteen, aka Olivia Wilde graces the cover of the May 2008 issue of LA Direct Magazine. There’s also a number of wonderful photos of her in the issue.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the magazine’s permission to publish the scans, so I’m not allowed to post them here. But you can check them out on this site.

Hugh Laurie is TV Guide’s Cover Model Again
May 28, 2008 by Lynn
Be sure to pick up the May 29, 2008 issue of TV Guide because our man, Hugh Laurie is on the cover again! They also have a feature where they have found out some tidbits of information about the season finale cliffhangers from some of our favorite shows.
Here’s the scoop on the House finale:
The grumpy doc’s neediness led to Amber’s shocking death. Can Wilson ever forgive him?
Executive producer Katie Jacobs tells TV Guide, “I don’t think their relationship will ever be the same. Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) has been cleaning up after the elephant for years. Because House (Hugh Laurie) is so self-absorbed, he relies on Wilson to [fix] his mess. This time it will really cost him…The audience should worry about the future of their relationship.”
