House: Interview With Lisa Edelstein

Yesterday was a very exciting day for me. I got a chance to participate in a conference call interview with House star Lisa Edelstein.
She was as upbeat, funny and friendly as she was the last time I got to talk to her. She really seems like a bubbly person. Of course, the main topic for discussion was the upcoming episode that focuses heavily on the Cuddy character. But she also talked a bit about Jennifer Morrison leaving the cast and about the House/Cuddy/Lucas relationship. I think you’ll enjoy this interview, no matter where your loyalties …read more

Tonight’s episode of House was fantastic! I nearly died laughing when Wilson found the opossum in the bathtub! LOL! And I loved getting to see Foreman’s brother on the show.
The episode was so cool; I thought we could discuss it a bit. Here are some of the things that I enjoyed about the episode and some things that made me think.
It was fun to think that House and Wilson had gone back to their pranking behavior. It takes us back to …read more

House: David Shore Talks About the Show

House executive producer and creator David Shore talked a bit recently to the folks at Zap2It about the show. He doesn’t reveal anything new about the situation with Jennifer Morrison, but he does tell us a bit about the Lucas character being around for a while. He mentions Chase and that there may be an episode that deals with him more heavily soon. And even though he tries to be vague, he does give us a few hints about things to come.

It seems that the “Powers That Be” at FOX have given House executive producers David Shore and Katie Jacobs a standing order for a House spin-off. They originally thought they would do a series using Lucas, the quirky private investigator, but they didn’t feel that the character worked on its own.
So now they are thinking about possible scenarios for a second show. The plan is to have the second show produced by them follow House in the 9 PM time slot. They can’t ask for a better lead series, right?
My thought is that they have …read more

I love it that within a couple of hours of the end of last night’s episode of House I already had an email asking about the song on the show.
I managed to track it down and here’s the scoop:

612: Remorse

“Why Try To Change Me Now” – Fiona Apple

I wouldn’t have thought it was Fiona Apple, but once I found out it was, it made perfect sense. If you want to download it, you can get it on iTunes.

I have some good news…and some bad news for House fans. First, the bad news. I have combed through every photo site I have access to, and a few more. I have not found even one photo of Hugh Laurie at the SAG Awards on Saturday, nor have I found any of his co-stars at the event. So, no SAG Awards red carpet photos this year. Sorry!
But the good news is that I have some new episodic photos for House to share with you. I don’t know …read more

SAG Awards: Another Disappointment for Hugh Laurie Fans

I’m sad to report that once again, Michael C. Hall won the Best Actor in a Drama award instead of Hugh Laurie at tonight’s Screen Actors’ Guild Awards. Not that I’m sad about Michael winning, but I had hoped it would be Hugh.
Hugh Laurie has won this award before, so I guess it’s ok for him to share the moment.
Oh, well, at least there will most likely be red carpet photos to share with you tomorrow. Be sure to check back!

TiVo Alert!

Be sure to watch or record tomorrow night’s airing of the Screen Actors’ Guild Awards! Hugh Laurie is nominated for Best Actor again this year and I’m betting that the House cast will be there to cheer him on.
And be sure to check back here on Sunday and Monday for the red carpet photos…hopefully also Hugh’s acceptance speech!
Here are the nominations in his category:
Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series

SIMON BAKER /Patrick Jane – “THE MENTALIST” (CBS)

MICHAEL C. HALL /Dexter Morgan …read more

Check out how huge the patient is in this House episode! I wouldn’t want to face-off with him on a football field!! And I can’t help but think that the situation between Foreman and his brother, with House getting in the middle, has to be both touching and hilarious!

Foreman’s (Omar Epps, L) already difficult relationship with his brother Marcus (guest star Orlando Jones, R) becomes worse when House (Hugh Laurie, C) gets between them in the HOUSE episode “Moving the Chains” airing Monday, Feb. 1 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT)[Photos: ©2010 Fox Broadcasting …read more
