Apparently, there will be changes in the Princeton-Plainsboro dynamics caused by House’s time in the hospital. It looks like things will be different after House gets back. Oh, I expect grouchiness about this… ;-)

And if you’ve been wondering about the Chase/Cameron wedding, it may not play that heavily into the day-to-day at the hospital at all. Here are some spoilers from Michael Ausiello at EW that explain it all:

Question: Any House scoop, other than the prolongation of Huddy after House leaves the loony bin? Translation: Why should non-Huddy fans tune in to House next season? –Luke

Ausiello: Because the Princeton Plainsboro that House left in the season finale will not be the same one he returns to next fall. And admit it, you’re dying to know how it’ll be different. “How [the hospital] works when he comes back will be different,” teases exec producer Katie Jacobs. “A doctor can’t check into a mental institution and just walk back into his job like nothing happened. We will not start forsaking reality. This [story] will have consequences.”

Question: How much of Cameron and Chase’s home life will we see next season on House? –Diane

Ausiello: Not much, according to Katie Jacobs. “I don’t know that we will show any more of their private lives than we have anyone else’s. The hospital stuff is first and foremost for us and everything we show furthers those story lines. I don’t think lovey-dovey, at-home relations is what people watch our show for.”

House Finale: Cameron / Chase Wedding Photos #2

There were too many great photos of the House wedding to get them all into just one post. So here are the rest of the “wedding” photos for Cameron & Chase. I love the ones of the other doctors too. If this were a real wedding, this would be a fantastic wedding album! They both look so amazing!!

House Finale: Cameron / Chase Wedding Photos #1

May 15, 2009 by Lynn

Juxtaposed with the tear-inducing scenes of Wilson dropping House off at the mental hospital in the final scenes of House’s season 5 finale were scenes of an amazingly beautiful wedding for Cameron and Chase. I found a bunch of absolutely incredible “wedding” photos of those scenes. I know you’ll enjoy them as much as I do.

But I can’t help feeling that Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer had to have felt pretty odd filming these scenes. And I wonder how it was for their current significant others to watch them “marry” their exes on screen…very strange, in that way. But you must admit that they both look fabulous and it would be a beautiful wedding, if it were real…

What Do You Think of Last Night’s House Episode?

May 12, 2009 by Lynn

[Photo: ©2009 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Michael Yarish/FOX]

I never watch TV shows right when they air. It’s one of the things that happen when I want to watch several that air at the same time. (I love my TiVo.) So when I got to finally watch last night’s House episode, I got to thinking about it in a big way. Then I started to wonder what all of you thought about it.

First of all, it’s interesting that one of the unusual illnesses I talked about recently was discussed as one of the possible diagnoses for the POTW. For a while, they thought he had alien hand syndrome.

We were told that it would be the most shocking House episode ever. Did it live up to that? I’d say that it was a strong second to the episode where Kutner died, but that it did definitely come as a surprise. (If you haven’t watched it yet…you should come back to read the rest of this post after you watch it. This is no surprise you want to be spoiled.)

First of all, I was wondering last week why the love scene between House & Cuddy was so extremely short. Now it seems to make more sense. But now I’m sad that it wasn’t real. Huddy fans, what are your thoughts on this?

I was really enjoying the happiness that House showed when he woke up and found Cuddy’s lipstick by the bathroom sink. And the way he was so happy all day long at the hospital was cute too. But I knew something bad was going to happen next when he announced to the whole hospital about their interlude.

It was a big surprise to me that House saw Kutner in the room…I should have noticed his name in the press release, but I didn’t. But somehow, I think that’s what David Shore wanted…

We now know why they did the “top secret” filming at the closed mental hospital in New Jersey. It had to be for the scene with Wilson dropping off House. Now I wonder what next season will bring us. Will episodes take place with House as a patient…helping to diagnose patients over the phone?

House: Four New Upcoming Episodes

April 8, 2009 by Lynn

House Spoilers

Now that we’ve been given the forever-changing event for House this season, FOX has released some info about the final four episodes of the season. House will be suffering a debilitating bout of insomnia…probably brought on by the aftermath of Kutner’s death. We know that Cameron and Chase will be more involved for the rest of the season and that Carl Reiner will be a very special guest star in the season finale.

Personally, I am eager to find out what fascinating ways House will punish himself and those around him for Kutner’s death, leaving no explanations. Poor House. We’ll watch him go through a breakdown and we all know that won’t happen without everyone else in the hospital being affected. But darn it! I hate it when the season has to end…

Episode 5.21: Saviors
Air Date: April 13, 2009

Cameron postpones her vacation with Chase in order to ask House to accept the case of an environmental radical who collapsed at a protest with unexplainable symptoms. Although suspicious of her motives, House agrees. Since she pushed him to take the case so emphatically, House forces Cameron to take the lead and run many of the tests on the patient. Meanwhile, House is unsure of Wilson’s new healthy diet. [Source: FOX]

Episode 5.22: House Divided
Air Date: April 27, 2009

Spoiler:
A deaf 14-year-old named Seth (guest star Ryan Lane) collapses after “hearing” explosions while competing in a wrestling match and is brought to Princeton Plainsboro. When Seth loses vision in one eye and his condition worsens, the team faces an ethical dilemma involving his mother’s (guest star Clare Carey) adamant decision to forego cochlear implants. Meanwhile, House’s (Hugh Laurie) lack of sleep starts to play tricks on his mind, but he finds insomnia may be a gift instead of a burden. [Source: FOX]

Episode 5.23: Under My Skin
Air Date: May 4, 2009

Spoiler:
House and the team take on the case of a ballerina (guest star Jamie Tisdale) whose lungs collapse in the middle of a performance. When the treatment causes her skin to fall off, the dancer faces not only the prospect of never dancing again but also of dying an agonizing death. The team must use their imaginations to carefully choreograph ways to test and treat her delicate body without killing her. Meanwhile, House continues to suffer from what he thinks is insomnia, and he is willing to go to desperate measures to cure it. [Source: FOX]

Episode 5.24: Both Sides Now
Air Date: May 11, 2009

Spoiler - Season Finale:
House and the team are intrigued by Scott (guest star Ashton Holmes), a man whose left brain and right brain operate independently, leaving him with two distinct personalities and no control over some of his actions. As the two sides of Scott’s brain struggle for dominance, his warring personalities make it increasingly difficult for the team to figure out what is causing the unique problem. The team is forced to use some unusual methods to get him to cooperate with their necessary testing. Meanwhile, when House refuses to make an appearance in the clinic, Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) takes an unconventional approach to force House to make up the time with a particular patient (guest star Carl Reiner). Looks like this will be a super fun episode when Cameron has to try to manage House!! That’s a hilarious idea all by itself. But throw in the mega-cute baby and the potential conflict for Foreman & Thirteen and I can’t wait for Monday!!

As House tests Cameron’s tolerance for his extreme measures, the patient continues to fall ill and House insists the teacher’s seemingly inherent goodness is actually a pathology. Meanwhile, Foreman must make a critical decision regarding Thirteen’s participation in the Huntington’s drug trial in the “Big Baby” episode of HOUSE airing Monday, Jan. 26 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/ PT) on FOX. Giant House Spoiler From Ausiello!

January 14, 2009 by Lynn

House Spoilers

I take back the things had to say about Micheal Ausiello not giving us anything, but teasing when it comes to spoilers! This one’s a doozy! (Thanks, Grace, for the tip!) It’s exciting to know that Chase & Cameron will be eventually reintegrated into the show, and I was wondering about the Cuddy/Cameron thing! This one won’t disappoint you lovers of spoilers:

Spoiler:
Question: Thanks for the awesome Q/A with House’s David Shore and Katie Jacobs. Did you talk to Jesse Spencer at the Globes? Has he been frustrated by his lack of screen time, too? — Brendan

Ausiello: I did talk to Jesse, and, believe it or not, he says he “really enjoyed” all the downtime. “I’ve had time to pursue other interests. I think a lot of actors in this town, because there’s a lot of unemployment, are afraid. But I decided, ‘You know what? I’m not going to be fearful of this.’ I know that the show is good. I know that I’m a part of the show. And I know that I’m still going to be part of the show, so I never really had a problem with it. And I think they did the right thing. Normally in Season 4, you have a slump. It’s standard practice in a hit show for some reason — season 4 always slumps. So they tried to change things up before that happened.” That being said, two years of backburneritis is enough. “The last two years they’ve been integrating the new characters into the show,” he says, “and now it’s time that they brought us in more often.” Amen!

Question: Got anything on House’s 100th episode on Feb. 2? — Aleki

Ausiello: Sadly, I’m told Chase and Cameron aren’t in it at all. In David Shore and Katie Jacobs’ defense, they said C&C would be re-integrated next season. Patience, people.

Question: Are you kidding me? You tell us in last week’s AA that the 100th episode of House is a gift from the TV Gods, and then you fail to explain what you mean? — Christina

Ausiello: When Cameron proves a most unworthy successor to her throne, Cuddy reluctantly returns to work and proceeds to take out all her frustrations out on House. She basically spends the entire hour terrorizing him — i.e. stealing his cane, installing a tripwire in his doorway, screwing with the elevators so he’s forced to take the stairs, etc. Good stuff. And if you’re wondering why Cameron failed so miserably in Cuddy’s post, Jennifer Morrison’s happy to explain. “She’s a little afraid of herself in that position because she has trouble saying no to House,” she explains. “It’s tough, because she knows first-hand that sometimes his crazy requests are ultimately very important. It was fun [doing the episode]. Hugh and I had a really great time.”

Question: Okay, so Michael Weston’s character Lucas isn’t getting his own show, but the real question remains. Is he coming back to House? — Cindy .

Ausiello: Doubtful. I asked David Shore about the character’s sudden (and unexplained) vanishing act. “He did just kind of disappear,” he concedes. “He came in when Wilson was gone so House could have someone new to play off of, but in a different way. But once Wilson came back, we didn’t dramatically have a need for him anymore.” Regarding the now-scrapped Lucas-centered spin-off, Shore says the decision not to move forward “had nothing to do with” Weston. Then what did it have to do with? “Beyond that, I can’t say.” (Memo to self: Do some digging — there’s a story there!) [Source: EW]
