Schedule Keeps Laurie out of Superman

According to IGN.com, Hugh Laurie was almost the next Perry White, but schedule conflicts kept him out of the role.
[Kevin] Spacey, whose prior collaboration with Singer was his Oscar-winning performance in The Usual Suspects, was almost unable to commit to Superman Returns due to a scheduling conflict.
