Yesterday was a very exciting day for me. I got a chance to participate in a conference call interview with House star Lisa Edelstein.
She was as upbeat, funny and friendly as she was the last time I got to talk to her. She really seems like a bubbly person. Of course, the main topic for discussion was the upcoming episode that focuses heavily on the Cuddy character. House executive producer and creator David Shore talked a bit recently to the folks at Zap2It about the show. He doesn’t reveal anything new about the situation with Jennifer Morrison, but he does tell us a bit about the Lucas character being around for a while. He mentions Chase and that there may be an episode that deals with him more heavily soon. And even though he tries to be vague, he does give us a few hints about things to come.

I finally got the chance to get this transcript of the Robert Sean Leonard interview posted. He’s a very casual, interesting man. Each person that came on the line in the conference call was actually questioned by RSL and then he would make fun little jokes and comments about their location or their publication. It made me wonder if it was a way to deflect the attention away from himself.

Here’s the interview that House star Olivia Wilde did last week with David Letterman. It’s very cute. He asks her about being married to an Italian prince. He has a lot of fun with the fact that she lived with him in a school bus in Venice, California.
It’s funny when she tells how she would be picked up in a limo to go to the set of her series and she would get off a school bus. And imagine having people all over the world shout a number as your name. It’s a cute clip:

Here’s the two-part Hugh Laurie interview with Jay Leno that aired a few days ago. It starts off with a very funny discussion of sitting styles.
They discussed the season premiere of House and how the success makes Hugh nervous. Hugh even talks a bit about the snakes photo shoot. It’s a fun clip:

Here’s the second part of the Hugh Laurie interview and in it, he plays the piano and sings a song for us. He also dispels the rumor that he would leave the show (thank goodness!!) It’s a classic:

This week, Jennifer Morrison was interviewed by Carson Daly about her role on House. There was no mention of her leaving the show, but she did say at one point that her character would be back on the team “for a while” in the beginning of this season. It’s a little vague, but who knows if she already knew about her character’s departure at the time of the interview.

At Wednesday night’s FOX All-Star Party, House creator & executive producer David Shore gave EW a bit of information about the House/Huddy relationship in the new season. And Huddy fans, it may not be what you were hoping for…
“We’re stepping back from it a little bit. We’re not ignoring it. We have to carry forward… It’s going to go someplace eventually. But the beginning of this season is primarily focused on House trying to find some semblance of sanity, and not completely succeeding.”
