Jennifer Morrison is Spending Her Summer Filming a Movie

Even though she played Captain Kirk’s mother in the latest Star Trek movie this year already, House star Jennifer Morrison is currently filming a new movie and has one that’s scheduled to be out later this year. She’s a very busy lady! Here’s what IMDb has to say about her two latest projects:

Warrior …. Tess Conlon 2010 (filming)
Table for Three …. Leslie 2009

I’m guessing that Jennifer is not one of the three main characters in Table for Three just because of the placement for her name in the IMDB listing. Here’s the overview of the plot, though:

Table for Three: A suddenly single guy invites what he thinks is a perfect couple to move into his apartment, only to discover they quickly insert themselves into all aspects of his life.

In Warrior, she has the top placement in the list of actors, but I’m guessing that she’s not one of the fighters. ;-) This may be a bigger part for her and she will share the screen with Nick Nolte, so it’s likely to be a bigger name movie. Here’s the synopsis:

Warrier: The youngest son (Hardy) of an alcoholic former boxer (Nolte) returns home, where he’s trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament — a path that puts the fighter on a collision corner with his older brother (Edgerton).

No one should be surprised that House star Olivia Wilde has been named the most beautiful on Maxim’s Hot 100 list this year. It’s an amazing honor to be #1 on the list and she seems to totally fit the bill.

Jennifer Morrison who plays Cameron on House has also been named #69 on the list. She’s been on the list for several years now and truly is amazing looking. Isn’t House a lucky doctor to have two such lovely team members?

Congratulations to both women for being recognized for being so beautiful!

House: Cast Members Talk About S5 Finale

May 10, 2009 by Lynn

FOX has released some really good clips of each of the House cast members talking about season 5, Kutner’s leaving and the finale of the season.

In this first one, Olivia Wilde tells us how difficult it as for the cast to read the script for the episode with Kutner’s death. She also tells her take on House’s breakdown as a result. She then talks a bit about Thirteen and how well she thinks the character is written. She’s very insightful:

Here, Jesse Spencer talks about how Chase deals with Kutner’s death. He’s also really cute when he says that Chase is a survivor. (You have to watch to see what I mean…)

Jennifer Morrison is James Kirk’s Mother in Star Trek

March 15, 2009 by Lynn

As most of you already know, House’s very own Jennifer Morrison plays James Kirk’s mother in the upcoming blockbuster movie Star Trek, by JJ Abrams.

Here’s a clip where the folks at Hollywood 411 give a little commentary first, then show the newest, and final trailer for the movie. There is a scene in it with Jennifer. I hope you enjoy it:

Jennifer Morrison at Hollywood Domino Party

March 7, 2009 by Lynn

Here are some great shots of Jennifer Morrison that were taken of her at a recent Hollywood Dominos party. The event was held to raise money for The Art of Elysium, an organization that allows working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions.

It seems like a really great charity and I’m sure they do a lot of good work. And how cool for her to be able to go have fun while helping out!

Jennifer Morrison & Amaury Nolasco Holding Hands

February 25, 2009 by Lynn

Check out this photo of Amaury Nolasco and Jennifer Morrison holding hands in public. I haven’t seen them photographed together holding hands before. This photo was taken as they departing Marc Anthony’s concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Valentine’s Day.

It seems like they must be happy being together. I’m happy for Jennifer that she is in a nice relationship. And it’s cool that both she and Jesse have moved on.

What Would Make Jesse Spencer Quit House?

February 12, 2009 by Lynn

House Spoilers

That’s exactly what this week’s Ask Ausiello answers for us. No, he’s not ready to leave the show any time soon, but there is a certain scenario that he said would make him leave. And with his personal history, I can’t say that I blame him on this one! Check it out:

Spoiler:
Question: Since we didn’t get a new House this week, do you have any scoop to hold us over until next week? — Morgan
Ausiello: I’ve got something better — scoop in the form of a frustrating fun game. Try and guess what House-related question prompted Jesse Spencer to declare, “If there is, I’m done. I’ll walk. I’m freaking done.” The answer is hidden somewhere in this week’s AA. Happy hunting!

Question: I’ve decided I’ll forgive your moving Ask Ausiello to Thursdays on one condition: you provide some new House scoop. — Kate
Ausiello: Congratulations all you game-players — you found it! Here’s the question that prompted Jesse Spencer to declare, “If there is, I’m done. I’ll walk. I’m freaking done.”:

Any plans for a very special episode of House in which Chase and Cameron get married?

Did anyone guess correctly? If so, congrats! You just won exclusive access to the rest of Spencer’s quote. “I think [producers] are wary about getting into too much relationship stuff,” he says. “It’s a procedural show at its core. That’s why people like it. That’s why I like to watch it… [Besides], how much do people want to see well-adjusted, happy Chameron? Because of David [Shore]’s general disdain for life, you can rest assured that what we won’t be doing next season is getting happy. You won’t see Chase and Cameron make a home and have babies and other greeting card stuff.”

Question: Hugh Laurie was spotted filming a beach scene in Malibu while wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Do you know if it was a House scene he was shooting? — Martina
Ausiello: Yes, it was. And if I say anything more than that Katie Jacobs will kabob my kabits. [Source: EW]

After his real-life engagement to Jennifer Morrison who plays Cameron went south, I can’t blame him for a second for not wanting his character to marry hers on the show!!

A Few Group Photos From the SAG Awards

January 26, 2009 by Lynn

I also found several very cute group photos of the House cast taken at the SAG Awards last night. They didn’t fit readily into the posts I’ve already put up, but thought you would enjoy them anyway.
