Jennifer Morrison Interview With Carson Daly
October 3, 2009 by Lynn
This week, Jennifer Morrison was interviewed by Carson Daly about her role on House. There was no mention of her leaving the show, but she did say at one point that her character would be back on the team “for a while” in the beginning of this season. It’s a little vague, but who knows if she already knew about her character’s departure at the time of the interview.
She also talks a bit about Kal Penn’s exit from House and about one of her new passions, introduced to her by her boyfriend Amaury Nolasco. She goes into a bit of …read more
Kal Penn Has Films Coming Out Soon
[Photo: Newscom]
In season 5 of House, Kal Penn’s character died, so we know he won’t be back on House (unless there are more hallucinations of him in store.) When he talked to us the day after Kutner’s death, he said ther would be no more Kumar movies to come because he’ll be working at the White House and won’t have time to film any more movies. So I have serious doubts about the reality of the Harold & Kumar movie still listed as in production at IMDb. But here are the movies with Kal Penn and one TV Pilot that …read more
Kal Penn on the USS Eisenhower
By now, every House fan probably knows that Kal Penn, who played Kutner on on the show, left the show to go to work for the Obama administration. He’s working in an outreach capacity and my guess is that it makes some use of his celebrity to provide PR.
Here’s an example of what I imagine must be part of the job. He and several other actors recently took a tour of the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier during a USO handshake tour. The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group is underway for a regularly scheduled deployment in support of the ongoing rotation …read more
Kal Penn at the White House Easter Egg Roll
April 18, 2009 by Lynn
It’s a very long-standing tradition at the White House to hold an Easter Day Egg Roll on the South Lawn. This year was no exception. But the big difference for House fans this year was that our dear Dr. Kutner, aka Kal Penn was there to help out.
Here are a few photos that were taken of him at the event. He seems to be fitting right in with the new job, doesn’t he?

At this point in the interview, Katie Jacobs & David Shore, the executive producers for House joined the conference call. There’s much more info to come…keep reading! It gets more and more interesting. What a great opportunity for Kal Penn!!
Q: Kal, is there any chance that they’ll be having you do commercials or public service spots on behalf of the Administration?
K. Penn: I don’t know. That’s not something that we discussed. I would imagine that my role is not going to be any different than the other talented staffers who are already on …read more

Kal Penn: From “House” to the White House
April 7, 2009 by Lynn
I just got off the phone from a conference call interview with Kal Penn who played Dr. Laurence Kutner and Executive Producers for House, Katie Jacobs and David Shore. They talked for over an hour and answered so many questions about Kutner’s suicide and Kal Penn’s new opportunity. I will have the entire interview for you as quickly as possible, but I wanted to give you a few of the highlights right away because I know you want answers.
First of all, it’s a sad occasion because a beloved character on our favorite show, House, has committed suicide and will no …read more

Episode 5.16: The Softer Side
Air Date: February 16, 2009
In this episode of House it looks like the leg pain has finally become so intolerable that House will start to try to deal with it in a new and more dangerous way. Knowing that he’s a Vicodin addict and has done everything from drop acid to sticking a knife in a socket up until now, there’s no telling what his new “treatment” will consist of…
And the patient is another child whose parents aren’t honest with House…gee, what are the chances of that?

Episode 5.14: The Greater Good
Air Date: February 2, 2009
To get us excited about the House 100th episode that will air on Monday, FOX has released a bunch of promo video clips. It looks like things between Foreman & Thirteen are going to get rough and Thirteen is going to have health issues…perhaps even be blinded. And the patient tells why she stopped practicing medicine to work in a restaurant kitchen. I actually can identify with what she says…who among us hasn’t at some time in our life asked ourselves if there was something else that would make us happy? And …read more

Here’s the FOX press release for the next episode of House, the 100th episode. In this episode, I think I most look forward to Cuddy’s retaliation against House. I saw a promo clip (I’m trying to track it down for you) where House trips and falls on his face with the cane sliding across the floor away from him. Since I know he’s not really disabled, it looks like a very funny scene and I know that Hugh Laurie will play it to its most …read more
