Monday’s new episode of House is going to be a really good one. Lisa Edelstein talked about it a great deal in her interview earlier this week, now here’s a new tidbit of information from Michael Ausiello.

Ausiello: Cuddy interrupts an intimate moment between a naked House and another woman. And this isn’t Huddy-related, but Generation Xers should be forewarned that there’s something — actually, someone — in the episode that will make you feel really old. WOW! This is big news for House fans! It seems that he’s going to start seriously dating his first ex-wife again! She’ll be played by Cynthia Watros and she’ll be in multiple episodes, beginning in April:

Lost heroine Cynthia Watros has found herself one hell of a plum role on House.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the Emmy-winning actress has been cast as Wilson’s first ex-wife (he’s had three) who comes back into his life as his new girlfriend.

And this isn’t some passing fling. I’m told Watros is on board for multiple episodes, the first of which is slated to air in April. [Source: EW]

Here’s some news about House & Lucas going head-to-head on House. [Finally!] And it looks like Wilson is going to be having a little romance in his life again. It’s about time!

Ausiello: Not only is there a chance, it’s a good one. A really good one. In other House couples news, I hear House and Lucas will engage in some swordplay later this season. No, not that kind of swordplay.

Question: Tell us something about Hugh Laurie’s direction of episode 17. How’d he make out? —Denise

Ausiello: Let’s ask Lisa Edelstein: “I have been directed by Hugh Laurie and it was fantastic,” she declares. “It’s one thing to have a tall, strapping man around, but it’s quite another thing when he tells you what to do!” Lisa, don’t ever change. [Source: EW]

It’s funny you should speak of minutes, because one thing to come out of the episode is the sad fact that ol’ Lucas is a “two-minute man” – and at the worst time, too. A few other tidbits from the very engaging, Lisa Edelstein-tastic hour: Cuddy has Isabel Allendes’ ‘Inés of My Soul’ on her nightstand; she starts her day off with yoga (and is very bendy); and she’s as obsessive with her Blackberry as I am with mine. “Huddy” fans, meanwhile, may enjoy Cuddy’s reaction to House getting a shirtless rubdown by a buxom blonde. One final note: The episode ends with a montage set to Mary Chapin Carpenter’s ‘Passionate Kisses,” which features the lyric, “I want a full house.” Clue? Discuss. [Source: fancast]

I also loved seeing Foreman’s brother on the show last night. It looks like others have expressed an interest in having the character on the show again:

OK, the bad news is that next Monday’s House ep, “5 to 9,” is Cuddy-centric and therefore riddled with Cuddy-Lucas PDA. Blech. On the other hand, the good news is that “5 to 9″ is Cuddy-centric and therefore riddled with scenes that reveal House and Cuddy’s genuine emotional and psychological intimacy, and that remind us fans why she loves that dude’s deranged narcissistic ass in the first place. If you Huddy fans can just squint through the Cuddy-Lucas scenes, you’ll find that when you come out the other side, the Huddy material is very rewarding.

Pete in Phoenix: Give me an update on House, stat!

Look for actor-comedian Orlando Jones to pop up in tonight’s House, bringing along a few surprises for his brother, Foreman (Omar Epps). We checked into reports that Orlando will possibly be back on a full-time basis next year, but a House rep tells us that the writers don’t yet know anything past this season. So for now, Foreman’s big bro is only expected to show up once. [Source: E! Online]

There’s good news for Cuddy lovers. This episode of House will focus heavily on her. I’m also assuming that we’ll see more of the relationship between Lucas and Cuddy in this one too. Personally, I’m not a fan of their relationship, but it might be interesting anyway.

I’m also looking forward to the way that House will react to all the things that Cuddy does in this episode. He’s been so miserable since Lucas and Cuddy have been together…but then, I think House enjoys being miserable.

Episode 6.14 – 5 to 9

I have some good news…and some bad news for House fans. First, the bad news. I have combed through every photo site I have access to, and a few more. I have not found even one photo of Hugh Laurie at the SAG Awards on Saturday, nor have I found any of his co-stars at the event. So, no SAG Awards red carpet photos this year. Sorry!

But the good news is that I have some new episodic photos for House to share with you. I don’t know what Cuddy is going to have to address the hospital staff about, but I love how excited they seem to be as they listen.

Check out how huge the patient is in this House episode! I wouldn’t want to face-off with him on a football field!! And I can’t help but think that the situation between Foreman and his brother, with House getting in the middle, has to be both touching and hilarious!

I’m really looking forward to seeing Foreman’s brother. We’ve seen his parents, so we have a bit of the back story on him, but this should fill in many of the missing pieces.

Earlier this season, we got the horrible news that cast member Jennifer Morrison would be leaving the cast of House. Then we found out that she joined the Broadway cast of The Miracle Worker, which seemed to mean that she wouldn’t even be avaialbe to guest star on the show. But it looks like those assumptions may have been a bit premature…

In a short interview with Michael Ausiello this week, Jesse Spencer didn’t mention Jennifer’s possible return, but did say this:

After spending the last couple years on the sidelines, Jesse Spencer is back in the thick of things on House. In this season’s first four months alone Chase separated from his wife, murdered an African dictator, physically assaulted his boss, and took his sometimes-miserable old job back. And Jesse Spencer has been loving every minute of it. “Season 6 has been awesome,” he told me last night at Fox’s press tour party. “They’ve been writing some really good stuff for me. It’s been pretty dark, but really fun to play.” [Source: EW]

Then today, Ausiello gave us this wonderful tidbit of information:

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Jennifer Morrison is heading back to House later this season. The timing and context of her return are being kept under wraps (read: I know but it’s too spoilery to reveal), but a House insider says, “You will see Cameron again on House before the end of the season.”

Morrison recently joined the Broadway revival of The Miracle Worker. It’s possible the actress will squeeze in her House comeback before the play starts previews next month. It’s also possible she will use one of her dark days (typically Monday) to fly out to L.A. and work on the show. [Source: EW]

Question: When is House going to change its opening title sequence to add Olivia Wilde and Peter Jacobson? They’ve had the same opening since the beginning. —Anonymous

Ausiello: In spite of your funny name, or perhaps because of it, I asked exec producer Katie Jacobs for you. Her reply: “In season 4, people said, ‘Are you going to change the credits once you decide on who you are adding to the team?’ and I felt like it was awkward to switch in the middle of the season. I could have done it season 5. I certainly didn’t want to change anything [at the start of season 6] because we opened so differently. But now I am thinking about it. I think they should be part of it.” Olivia, Peter, you can send your thank-you notes directly to Anonymous.

Question: Please tell us something about Jennifer Morrison returning to House! —Amy

Ausiello: I should’ve seen it coming! Here’s what Omar Epps told us about JMo’s exit and possible comeback last week at the People’s Choice Awards: “I definitely miss her… I certainly didn’t see it coming. I don’t think anyone did. She is a great person and I’d gotten used to seeing her most days of the year. [But] she is not officially gone. It isn’t like they killed her off. And even if they had, we’ve already had a dead person come back with Amber. So there is still a possibility.” The clues were everywhere! [Source: EW]

Episode 6.12 – Remorse
Air Date: January 25, 2010

These are the latest House preview photos. In this episode, we get to see House try to make amends with a former colleague. I can’t wait to find out what that’s about. I wonder if it’s part of a 12 Step program. Don’t they make people go back and try to apologize for things they’ve done to people in the past? It’s just a thought.
