Review of Hugh Laurie on SNL
October 28, 2006 by Cory
OK, Tonight’s episode just ended, and I’d give it a B-minus. Hugh was in about a half dozen skits, and while I wasn’t taking notes, here are my thoughts.
I suspect he wrote his own monologue, and it suffered a little cross-cultural confusion. He told a Shakespeare joke that went completely over the head of the audience including me.
The highlight was his protect song on guitar and harmonica. Sing with me: “All we have to do is mmm… mmm… mmm….”

Interview with Laurie and Leonard
October 1, 2006 by Cory
Newsday has a nice piece on the interplay between Laurie and Leonard.
Their psychological sparring ran the gamut from playful pranks to painful stripping away of pretenses exposing each other’s weaknesses. House Season 3 Mini-Spoilers Redux
August 9, 2006 by Cory
Ask Ausiello of TV Guide has a few tidbits for us. In no particular order:
The Ketamine which Cuddy administers to House will be successful… at least for a time.
While “cured” by the Ketamine, House will test Cameron’s affection for him now that he’s no longer wounded.
Finally, the switch to 8pm is temporary. After new episodes in September, House will take a brief hiatus for playoff baseball. When it comes back, it is expected to be in it’s traditional 9pm time slot.
